I Heard Something On The Radio About It, But It Was Way Brief, And The Way It Was Said I Thought It Was A Shot At His Career.

Now one would joke about something like that so close to the beginning of April. And certianly not on Howard Stern.
IT MUST BE TRUE.

sheesh.

Article says he died on the 30th, i dont think its a joke. It's not as if he was a comedian known for wild stunts. His drug problem is fairly well known.

Thats impossible. He is not fairly well known, how could his drug problem be? :D

sheesh.

He Didn't Joke About His Death, He Made A Side Comment Comparing Something To His Death. Plus, If Stern Didn't Like Someone He Would Very Much Make Light Of His Death.

maybe if you actually paid attention to articles about him, or even knew a little about the comic, you know he's nothing like this- one to fake his own death. andy kaufman, yes, jim carrey, probably, but theres nothing to indicate this would be a joke.

Not to mention the "not funny" aspect.

yeah, i dont see the humor in faking your death and reporting it to the media, at least not when it comes to him. maybe with andy kaufman its different, because thats what he did, thats what he talked about. but just because the guy's a comedian doesnt mean he "jokes" about everything

I got to see him 2 in 7 days for five dollars last year, when he went to two oklahoma colleges. He had one of the funniest sets ever and I am sad.

I loved when he played Frank on That 70's Show

Frank: Number ten your order is ready!

Kelso: Yeah I'll be right there.

Frank: Number ten I have limited counter space. Please remove your hot dog.

Kelso: Alright!

Kelso: I don't see why you can't just serve us our food, Frank. We are paying customers you know.

Frank: Hey, I did not lose a leg in Vietnam so I could serve hotdogs to teenagers.

Kelso: You have both your legs, Frank.

Frank: Like I said, I did not lose a leg in Vietnam.

ah christ this sucks.

i was walking by the improv in irvine and a big van backed out in front of me. mitch was in the front seat and i laughed when i realized who it was. he had a big corn cob pipe in his mouth and he smiled at me, wiggled the pipe pop-eye style, then drove off.

I was clinging to the fact that the AP hadn't reported it yet, but looks like they've confirmed it:

Shit.
