Marvel learned on Wednesday, August 22, that American Color Graphics, based in Sylacauga, Alabama, had decided not to print the new ALIAS #1 – one of the inaugural titles in Marvel’s new mature MAX line – due to its "offensive" contents.

Anyway, just to make sure everyone knew what was going on, in the very first issue (which revolves around a missing persons case involving a woman who seems to be dating Captain America), Jessica and a certain rather well-known superhero get it on. Evidently in quite some detail, although there's no nudity.

Could be, but I've just never heard of that ever happening before. Had that press not printed any other comics before or only comics specifically for kids I wonder. I've just never, ever heard of a printer refusing to complete its contracted work on any mainstream book. Unless it happens all the time and it simply never comes out.
