My friend Jim will be at WWBoston, manning a table for his store, Modern Myths (Northampton, MA). Saturday is his birthday. Anybody want to take five minutes out of their day and join me in giving him a cake and singing "happy birthday" to the poor, old bastard?

I suppose spanking him is out of the question.

I just talked to his wife. She suggests finding a "busty geek girl to bring him the cake".
I said we had a tall, thin, gay man. She thought that would also work.

I have to work Friday. So I will probably miss everything worth seeing at the con that day. So I imagine I will try to get to Beantown by 8 or so, if that's cool with you.
Want to take me to see Serenity? I'll buy you a popcorn, and we can hold hands and shit.

OK, new plan for if I can get out of the army on time. Cathy and I going to Chicago, and somehow scraping up enough money to go to Boston as well.

It's a good store. I have been friends with Shannon (Jim's wife) for about fifteen years. They're really good people. And their store is great.

I'd rather catch a beer and the Sox/Yankees game, to be honest.
Travis is going to be getting to my place around 8 on Friday night, so I will most likely have a bunch of beer and weed here w/ the game on.

Actually, it was the British who fled England and settled in what is now called 'New England', so yeah, a lot of the names are the same.
don't you know your history, son?

I know, even if it isn't mine, but I tought they would have more imagination than that Northampton,Manchester...
It's the only colonial country who did it, wen we went to Portugal,Mocambique,Angola,Cap verde,India,Malaysia & China
If we would have been like the Brits there would at least been 8 or 9 Lisbon,Faro or Porto cities

Oh, it was just the way you implied the lack of imagination of 'the americanos'.
It was the fleeing Brits themselves who lacked the imagination, not indiginous Americans. :D

Here the americanos, are the most "americans of the europeans"
Last year the french even made a movie called The American, about a french guy who wants to become american, because he lives like every american, but the american governement won't let him, so he decides to make out of the projects where he lives, the 51st american state
