but you shouldn't just go on hope it MIGHT be good if you know you're not interested. you can always catch up or whatever.

Great writer? Isnt it some guy connected to Lost? I don't remember them saying in the story if he has any experience in comics writing, so I'm not sure "great" really fits. The artist I've never heard of, what else has he done? I'm interested in the concept, but it kind of reeks of a flavor of the month cash grab.

He's doing a wildstorm series right now called silent dragon that looks absolutely AMAZING. Take a look at. I'll bet it'll make you drool.

Damon Lindelof was basically the brains behins last years most talked about and successful show and the writer of most of its episides, and he's been a professional TV writer/producer for almost 10 years. What exactly do you consider credentials?

not 100% that i'm gonna get it, but i'm looking forward to checking it out at the LCS

I said comics credentials. As far as his TV show, I know I'm in the minority, but I watched the first two episodes before I gave up on it as shit. Personal taste and all that nonsense.

I'm not really sure why you'd consider 10 years of professional writing experience in a story-telling medium not worthy of anybody's care because he doesn't have any comic credits. Neither did Alan Heindberg and he's managed to put together some quality books and a quickly growing fanbase.

Why is everyone holding back their rants? It's not healthy to keep it all bottled up.

i, for one, don't like to argue--and that's what i would be getting myself into. and i have much more important things to worry about keeping bottled up than my opinion on a wolverine/hulk comic.

Television doesn't have word balloons. Is this guy going to have any clue how many words to put in the balloon or which direction the tails point in?

So long as the Hulk eats Wolverine's flesh, this will rule.

Also, Ultimate Hulk should easily beat Ultimate Wolverine. No contest. If it even comes close, I will throw my issues away and deny ever having bought it.

That would be sweet as long as wolverine claws his way out of the hulks gut!

Well the writer just accepted an Emmy, so I've got some faith in his ability to tell a good story.

Lenil Yu is the shizz. Can't find images from it, but that sideways X-Men Annual was great!
