Sort of...basically, it's VERY Japanese..but it's still really fun and not that complicated.

Hell, you should be able to understand it, even if you haven't played the game.

The battle sequences are jaw-dropping.

Its a shame the first Final Fantasy film killed any hope of a theatrical release for this. I'm still gonna get to see it on the big screen though. We're gonna run at work when it comes out on DVD. I was just saying that my dvd player plays divx natively, so I don't have to convert it to a VCD, MPEG, DVD, etc..

It depends on what player you're using.

You may need a codec or something.

Either way, you're talking 1-5mb to view it in English with another player. Not that big of a deal.

It comes out on DVD today in Japan but for some unknown reason Sony has decided to delay the release in the US til November or later.

As for the movie its a Japanese movie which as far as i know hasn't been copyrighted in America yet. Unless the Japanesse government starts chasing after everyone who downloaded this movie i think were all safe.

If they state specifically that its illegal to Download it because its copyrighted in America then its definatly illegal.

I'm not trying to justify downloading it but if you think downloading a movie and then buying the actual DVD when its released is comparable to walking in to the warehouse and taking an actual copy of the DVD without paying for it, you're crazy. Its not a physical object. A sale is not lost in the downloading case. A stolen DVD can no longer be sold and thus any future sale can not occur.

FFVII: Last Order has leaked. Its the 25 min anime short that is included with that special version of Advent Children. No subtitles yet but I'm sure whoever had the subs for AC within one day will have them out by either tomorrow or Thursday :) The likelihood of Last Order coming out officially in the US is probably slim so this might be your chance of checking it out.
