In response to the devastation created by Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast, we've set up an auction site to raise funds for the Red Cross relief effort.

It works just like an Ebay auction, so if you have items that you wish to donate you can create an account and post those items with all the relative info such as a pic, item info, expiration time, shipping info, etc.

Item categories are:
Artwork
Audio & Video
Comics
Computer
Miscellaneous

The winning bidders will donate the winning amount directly to the Red Cross. Then, present the donation receipt from the Red Cross to me and I'll inform the seller.

My email address is: dave@scartissue-comic.com

We've created a web banner for the site. If as many people as possible can put it in their signatures, both here and at any other board, it would really help spread the word:

Thanks to everyone who donates and contributes and a special thanks to Travis Howard and Mike Storniolo for all their help with this.

Phil Hester just donated a page from Daredevil #65!!! :D

That's the anniversary issue. Daredevil gives Punisher a beat down. It's an awesome page.

Check it out!

This is a very good thing. I wish I could donate something but all my possessions are currently in New Orleans. I want to work on the charity book (at least writing my story) and if I draw anything- I can auction those pages off. Although they probably wouldn't get much...

That is an awesome page, I saw it in chicago, my bids already in. I want to donate a Goon sketch I got from Eric Powell, is the site set up to sell just like ebay?

* nevermind, I figured it out.

I put my name on the Ronin writer list. That and the clothes I've got ready for when they take them are all I can afford to do. Wish I could do more.

No worries, man. I wish I could donate money, or go down there and physically help out, but that's not possible. So I donate sketches because that's what I can do.

I'll throw down. Look for a signed and sketched copy of the Ultimate Spider-man Annual some time Monday. I'll post a link in here when I get it up. Maybe I can get Brian to sign it as well!
