my thoughts are that he's "dying" an needs to find a replacement or something.

I'm disappointed. I wanted to get on board with the new Peter David book but now I'm not when he is only writing the first issue and not another issue until number four.

Not buyin' it. Even if there's a solid plot in place, I have no faith in Hudlin to properly handle his portion of the story. I'll start buying FNSM after this storyline is finished.

So buy issue 1, then pick it up again starting with issue 4.

It's a Spider-man book. You don't need to worry about it surviving for three issues. ;)

These kinds of crossovers are so passe. All the bullshit is started to come back.
It feels like attention is shifting toward artists slowly but surely, you've got variant covers by the dozen, and title spred crossovers from BOTH sides of the a-league.

I AM CONCERNED!

Looking forward to it--loved Morlun the first time, and I have faith in JMS and PAD--Huldin is getting better as well.

No interest whatsoever...It saves me from buying Amazing Spider-Man for a few issues, and I don't have to start with Friendly Neighborhood for a while...

I hope The Other turns out to be 'Ben Reilly', the original Spider-clone - revealling the Ben Reilly clone that died wasn't the real Ben Reilly, and this particular Ben Reilly was actually the Ben Reilly all along. And then in a bizarre twist of fate, this particular Ben Reilly dies, and DOESN'T turn to dust, thus proving that Peter Parker HAS BEEN the clone all along!

I'm going to buy it since I'm pretty much Spidey's bitch. I'll withhold judgment till I get it though.

My opinion is that I was actually looking forward to PAD on a Spidey title and now I have to wait until issue 5 to start picking it up....... oh well...

I'm gonna pick up the first month of stories and decide from there whether or not to continue with it. That said, I always read Amazing and definately plan on reading Friendly Neighborhood...so, yeah.

I came really close to buying a new Spider-Man series with a creative team I liked, but they started it with this crossover, and my interest is near-dead.
