Who's got someone on "Ignore"? No need to say who (unless it's me), but why? Especially since it's so easy to ignore someone without "Ignore."

Won't it be hard to follow conversations with people on ignore? Seems kind of pointless and detrimental, even if someone annoys you.

Now I do. Just kidding.

I don't really see the point of putting someone on an ignore list unless it's a situation like Dave and Neil where neither was banned but both were warned that if they didn't stop fighting with each other, they would be. If they had been able to "ignore" each other, they would have been fine. The only kind of person I can imagine ignoring would be someone who's doing something that's bannable, in which case they would be banned and I wouldn't have to ignore them. Does that make sense?

i dont understand why anyone would want to ignore someone.

Nope. Nobody... yet.

Didn't wsomeone start a post about ignore being for pussies that can't handle things like everybody else?

I agree with that! :D

I can. Some people on here can be really obnoxious. Namely, all of you. But some people really get on your nerves, (especially some of the themed posters, or posters who often offend people, and are banned).

I'm currently not ignoring anybody, cuz i really don't have anyone i feel i need to ignore.

i would never ignore somebody. that's for pussies!
(that was my thread! ;-))

tolerating other people's opinions (even when they're clearly wrong) is what grownups do. children play the silence/ignore games.

right, shane! oh, i forgot. he can't read me anymore.

I'm fascinated by this topic. I absolutely don't have anyone on ignore and would never use it unless some type of extreme situation arose. The annoying people supply me with material for some of my favorite posts.

With that being said, I obvious put BENDIS! on my ignore list right away. That fool acts like he owns the place.

They don't do it for me either. It seems like a weak attempt at humor to me. Originality is the key to being funny and that shit is old like the Pink Hulk. :D

Admit it Nate, you would have used the ignore feature on me at Comicboards had they had one. :p

I'm adding you to my ignore list right now.

And no, I don't.

There are some people I wouldn't mind ignoring.

But morbid curiosity wins over minor convenience every time.

THERE IS NO-ONE i'VE SEEN i WANT TO ADD TO THE IGNORE LIST.

What does it do exactly? Just not display the posts from the ignored?

And what is the buddy list?

...A penny drops.

Actually, I heard a rumor the Ignore feature doesn't take you off the main subject listing, just hides your posts within a thread. So, were they so motivated, they could enter the thread and read it.

I have no one on my ignore list. Seems like a cop out and, like most people here, I think I'm fonder of the posts that annoy me than I want to admit ato myself.

I played with it the first day, just messing around with Goodman, but I took him off after the joke had played itself out (which took about 2 minutes tops).
