So I imagine I'm going to finish Paul Auster's 'Book of Illusions' at some point this week.
I've decided my next few books I'm going to read, but I want to take suggestions as to what I should read next. So, here are the choices:
1) Dante's Inferno (Pinsky translation)
2) Ulysses by Joyce
3) Finnegan's Wake by Joyce
4) The Satanic Verses by Rushdie
Thanks. Have a good one.

The Inferno. That shit will give you nightmares. I read it when I was 12. Probably not the best thing for me to do at the time.

Wasn't that a difficult read at 12 yrs?

Inferno, the Joyce stuff is crap, although I did not actually read Finnegan's Wake, if it's anything like Ulysses is sucks, and I haven't read any Rushdie. But you can't go wrong with Dante.

That's what I'm leaning towards.

First, you need to read something that helps you learn to count to four.
Second, Dante's Inferno.
