I remember watching the premire of that and the new version of Land of the Lost and Pirates of the Dark Water and maybe another show I cant remember one Saturday morning. Steve Urkell and Carl Winslow and Laura Winslow from Family Matters presented each show. It was awesome
Dont ask me how I remembered that...

Checkout "How to read Donald Duck" by Dorfman and Mattleart.

They deconstruct the western treasure hunters taking valuable artifacts from native descendents.

Every wonder why scrooge never has any of those artifacts laying around? Only piles of money....

Ducktales and Darkwing Duck were connected continuity weren't they?
Launchpad and Gizmo Duck carried over to DD from Ducktales.
So does that mean something like Goof Troop, where there was no humans was also connected to Ducktales and Darkwing Duck? Just a different city?

Oooh that'd be cool too. Tail Spin could take place in WWII era Ducktales/DarkWing Duck continuity.

I think I'm getting a little too into this.

When I was a kid, the episode where the Fearsome Five (was that their name?) kicked the hell out of Darkwing and his crew really upset me. I thought he was done for! God, to be a kid again. Nowadays you know at the end of a cliffhanger like that it's just a matter of "how do they get out of it?" but then it was "HOLY CRAP, THEY LOST!"

Would Gummi Bears fit too? Be during their middle ages? Except there was humans in Gummi Bears so I guess that wouldn't work.

What was the deal with Quack Pack anyway? Was this after Scrooge died, it was discovered that he owed trillions of dollars in back taxes so the nephews got nothing, and Donald was drummed out of the Navy for gross incompetence? What was the deal with that show?

I don't get the title of the thread. Ducktales was the earlier show making Launchpad's first appearance in that show, not Darkwing Duck.
Plus anyone knows the best disney animated show after Ducktales is Talespin.

1. What does it have to do with Launchpad?
2. The satirical elements in Darkwing, which were not carried over to Ducktales from the old comics that was based on, make Darkwing better.

Scrooge was deseased before Ducktales released anyway. Silly continuity eaters.

He never said, Rosa plotted it for the year Barks stopped writing.

And who knows? Disney politics mean this paintings will never even be printed in the U.S. I'm surprised he even got away with it.
