For a "flagship" title, they really should put some great talent on the book. I like the X-men, but I'm not going to spend money on crap.

Agreed. Its kind of bad when 2 out of the 20 X-Titles are worth reading.

i have every issue since the blue gold team stuff back around 280something

it has gotten bad and almost on my drop list but not recently. The claremont neo shit is what almost did it for me.

I guess i am a completist but i really dont bitch about it that much, if i hate a book ill drop it.

I really like most recent issues. It's what X-Men allways should be.

Why do people expect the Metamorphosis or Crime & Punishment from super-hero comics?

Cause some superhero comics try to be more than anesthesia?

Thanks for starting another thread where people can bash and insult anyone who actually likes the current Uncanny X-Men title (I'm one of them).

I'm gonna start getting when Bachalo starts,so all this talk about Claremont sucking now better be a bunch of bullshit.I'm not even kidding. There better be no outer space fucking stories or anything centering around Psylocke.

No "good guy"Juggernaut either. :furious:

There's no greater a Marvel Zombie than the X-fans.
Everyone knows that! Or at least... did.

It seemed to be on a slow decline at one point.

Because sales are the best measure of a book's quality. Spawn #1 is the best comic ever!

ease up, dude.

It was a parody thread.

It was a parody thread of the for "batman begins" non-believers thread.

I know it was a parody, but at some point, possibly the issue before HOM, I'm sure this was selling worse than Austen's run on the title.

it was, that's why they did a variant, which got 10000 buyers more and now with HoM he's back in the rails

Yeah, but i've been saying that since I was 10  of course two years later I quit buying for a while, but I like to think of that as a hiccup rather than quitting!

Actually.. I bet we're like the 200th to say it or something anyways.

Shoo, it's been that way since, what?, the early 80s/late 70s?
