First off, this isn't one of those drunken rambling posts. It's a sober rambling one. I had 2 beers after work, and that was at 10:30. And I gotta say they were quite refreshing and relaxing. People always say they don't like beer, and I just don't get it. It's an aquired taste, much like coffee or liver. There's something about beer that a mixed drink just doesn't do. I can't explain it other than to say "beer good".

That's right up by Bullwinkle's, isn't it? A friend of mine swears by the place (and I need to get over there ASAP).

Yep. Great, fresh beer. the Hope & King Scotch Ale, Black H2O Oatmeal Stout (it's a meal in a glass), and the Masala Mama India Pale Ale are my favorites, but there is literally nothing bad or even "just good" there. Not bad prices for beer brewed 5 ft. from your table.

Well right now I'm drinking Coors light, Rolling rock, and Miller high life. So yeah really wet beer shits in the AM

Beer= liquid goodness
When I was younger, I never understood the big deal people would make between cans, bottles and tap. Then I drank beer, and I understood. Nothing better than draught beer pour correctly.

YES! Draft is the best, followed by bottle. I don't think I've ever had a good beer out of a can.

There are possibilities I could take you to the pub where I did that that I will no longer mention.

It's possible but it's very rare. Guinness, while better draft and in the bottle, doesn't taste quite so tinny as other beers do.

Anyone ever join one of those beer of the month clubs? I was thinking about doing that for my dad's birthday.

Yeah, but aside from Guiness, the only beer I ever see in a can is Miller light, or Coors likght or some crap like that. No thank you.

I might do that for my dad's next birthday. "Hey Dad, I've joined a beer of the month club! See you next year." *gets drunk*

The only reason I get them in a can is because it's much cheaper and it's harder to find beers in bottles here.

Beers in cans are everywhere over here. They easily outnumber the bottles and there is a massive selection. There are some nice draught bitters available in cans.

I've never drank beer from a can, and I don't intend to start. Bottles are usually my standard, just because I don't have a tap in my own home...yet.

beer in can is a no no,
Draft is better, but I usually only drink bottle, cause I share my drinks with my girlfriend and it's easier to pass on Bottles than glasses
