Let me just start off by proclaiming how HUGE a fan I am of your art its simply astounding and breathtaking. I have followed you for your entire career and have been inspired by you to continue my passion for art. I have struggled in my own work because I cant seem to get past a certain point with my art. I buy all the how to books and study them and try to learn from them but it seems I cant get any better than the point Im at now. I'm 29 and work as a field tech for verizon in manhattan, covering the lower east side. I spend most of my day on the streets and carry a sketch book to try to capture real life people. For quick sketches I'm okay but without a person or object in front of me I suck. Also I live in middletown NY and had heard you lived nearby, and I was wondering if you knew any programs closeby geared towards adults that can help me refine my art. I dont know how well in touch with the community you are but Id figured Id ask or get advice from a talent as huge as yourself. Thanks in advance for any info you can give me. Also have you ever thought about teaching or instructing Id be willing to pay 500$ a month for a few hours of your time and experience on making me into a better artist.
