One of my earliest memories is from when I was about 3 years old.
I didn't see my dad that ofen because of his work schedule.
One day I woke up from an afternoon nap and he came in to take me to grandmas... but I didn't recognize him because he shaved off his moustache!

I wouldn't/didn't believe it was him. I think it hurt him a lot that I didn't recognize him (by voice at least) because he was gone so much.
