Fucking sweet indeed. It was worth every buck I paid for it, I can't wait to crack it open and give the series another read again... I hope we get a similar treatment for Volume 2

Likewise. The extras were very sweet. So far, I'm torn between which one I like better between this, and the Invincible HC i just picked up.

I will when I get a little cash. Funds were destroyed this weekend, and I could barely cover the new issues I wanted.

I never read Vol. 1, but I really dug this first story arc of Vol. 2 and look forward to reading the first run of the series. Does the hardcover include all of Vol. 1, and is it less expensive than buying individual trades?

It does include all 18 issues of vol. 1.

If you can find all the digest sized trades, they run 7 or 8 bucks a piece. I haven't seen the second one ever since I started looking for it, even on Amazon. But I haven't checked on there in a while. So after the first digest I just decided to wait on the HC, since I'm starting to buy them anyways.

Man, I was gonna order it online cheap. I thought this came out later in the month. I walked into Mayhem, saw it, and put a couple books that had been sitting in my file for a week already so I could justify buy this. Damn.

Nice.
Really, going on the coffee table, this book is going to be shown to people.

But not lent out.
I learned that hard lesson with league of Extraordinary wackers.
Both volumes.
Fucking assholes...

This thing is great! I've got the whole series in single issues but am addicted to the oversized hardcover format for my favorite titles so I bought it anyway. Wasn't expecting much in the way of extras and was pleasantly surprised when I opened it up and found that there were some. A must have for any fan of the series, new or old! (or a fan of good comics in general)

Question: How's the coloring on this?? The digests and some of the issues came out a little dark. Just wondering if they fixed this?

The coloring is beautiful. Just as, if not, better than the actual issues with a NICE paper stock.

The reason the digests came a little bade was because, if I remember correctly, they're printed on almost newspaper or something like that right?

But yea, way better than the digests...

You guys are too cool for school. Thanks so much. Hope you enjoy watching Adrian and me (and our characters) grow up over 18 issues. Marvel did such a kickass job with this book...

Hell yeah, i got mine. I skipped some comics just to have it.

then I whipped through the first 6 issue arc, and found not a single printing mistake. PLUS, it is unedited, unlike the digests.

Sure, I have the individual issues, but this thing is just beautiful.

I picked this up yesterday. Never read the first volume, but was collecting the 2nd.

I originally thought the first volume was only 12 issues for some reason, so it was great to get so much story in one big book. I shouldve really collected it since the beginning but I was always too finnicky about getting into new books.

Great job BKV.

The intro and extras that got included were pretty bitchin', too. I'd have kinda liked to have seen the script to issue 1, though. I tried to find it through the link on your website, but it doesn't seem to be working anymore. Perhaps Marvel removed it.
