White Russians...girl drink or just a good drink?

My one friend continually busts on me (in a good natured way) because I sometimes order White Russians when I go out. He maintains they're a "girl drink". I say they're not a girl drink, they're just a damn tasty drink. Mmmmm. Love 'em. So...who's right here?

And no, it's not. Milk based drinks are usually exempt from that title. It's usually for the fruitier stuff. (Mudslide excepted of course.)

I always think of midori sours as being the classic sorority girl drink. I just remember going to sorority functions and seeing all of these girls walking around with these neon green drinks.

as an aside, there is a bartender at the Elbow Room in downtown indianapolis that makes his own white russians, with Godiva white chocolate liquour and a bunch of other stuff, and it's about the best damn thing I have ever had to drink...

Yeah.. my usual drink was the Long Island Iced Tea or anything with Vodka in it, but one day a friend gave me a Whiskey Sour and I've been trying anything with sour in it :)

On a side note, other weird stuff I have in the cabinet is some Toffee flavored stuff, and Tequilla Rose (which is like Nestle Quik but with tequilla)

There is no such thing as a girl or a guy drink! Does it have booze in it? Then it's fine.

We were at a bar one night and my good friend ordered a Pina Coloda. We went to the bar so often the waitresses all knew us and joked with us (and went out with us after their bar closed) and she gave him trouble for it. Then he backed down and ordered something else. Then we gave him more trouble for that. If he would have just stuck to his guns, things would have been fine. But the backing down just inspired us to rib him for the night. It was hilarious.

Whiskey sour is my drink of choice when I'm out, mainly because it's pretty hard to mess up.

Amaretto Sour is good, too, but that is in fact a girly drink :p
