If your posting this, your most likely already thinking about it. But why should we have to convince you? If your interested, than read the book.

When I say convince I mean tell me about it. What's it about? Is it good? Does it go with my shoes?

And YOU'RE not helping.

The short version, is that it's about one man's rebellion against a fascist government, and how it spirals into a revolution.

And if you don't read it you'll get cancer.

Look what you've done! This is just what he wanted to happen! He's coming.

The Void. He's coming now and there's nothing you can do about it.

V for Vendetta is an excellent social commentary, as well as a kickass story.

Damn... I need to read these. I've had the individual issues lying around for like 4 years now. Found them for a $ each!

Why the fuck should I care if you read it or not? I hope you don't read it. Then you will be an even bigger looser, you Marvelman rip-off.

All I remember is I enjoyed it. It's been awhile.

I remember it being very dark and psychological. The art is impeccable.

I'm not a huge Alan Moore freak, but this and "The Killing Joke" are two of my favorite Moore stories.

Yeah, well, the Avengers book club will be discussing it this week, and since you're already the new guy, I'm guessing you'll want to look good.

I have only read Watchmen about a week ago now. I thought it was a bit slow and the large text parts at the end of each chapter relally pissed me off. But then I finished the book... and everything fell into place, I saw the need for those annoying things at the end. And suddenly they weren't annoying, but had a purpose, they really go into depth about the characters in a clever little way! I enjoyed it!

If V for Vendetta is anywhere as good as Watchmen, I would read it in a heartbeat. But, alas, I have no money!

And sentry, as a V man, the name "V for Vendetta" should be somewhat appealing! ;-)

Opposed to the loser who spells loser like looser?

Who's a MarvelMan rip-off?

Read it twice. Make sure you read it twice. There's a big cast of characters, and even the small roles are important. It's a "pay attention" book.

But it's sweet. Sweet like sugar kisses.

I add double letters to almost every word. It's a sickness.

Don't read the book, looser.

who cares?

highly overrated.

you probably ought to read it just because.... but don't be surprised if you don't like it.

You should read it because it will only strenghten the case that Alan Moore material does not translate well to movies, assuming you go see the movie. Plus, it's good.

Needless to say, I love this book. Its even more relevant today, than the time in which it was written.
