Back when the dude was working at Marvel, Uncanny X-Men was coming out pretty regularly. I think if he's got a contract with a publisher it's a different story than him just putting out creator-owned stuff whenever he wants.

Plus... hey, like you're not looking forward to seeing what his new shit looks like.

I luckily missed most the 90's (totally got out before Clone Saga), so I have no prior knowledge of Joe. I'm going with giving him a chance, though I'm not sure I'm in love with the HoM cover

his stuff was the best ever when I was 16. Not sure how I'll feel about his new stuff but I'm excited he's back in the game.

I would love if marvel got him to draw again

I'm actually not looking forward to it. Yeah, his art was pretty, but I still don't plan on throwing my money away on it.

He had the tendency of getting way out of control with tits, guns, and muscles. But when he kept his style in control it was great.

For me it'll be up to the story. I love Jeph Loeb's writing, there's only been a few things I couldn't get into too much, but recently he's been doing good by me. If Loeb makes the story worth it, I won't have a problem with Madueria. While it's not my favorite artistic style, there's much worse around...

working as an artist in the game industry is a very enticing thing--so i can understand what drove madureira there. that said, it's also an extremely fickle and volatile industry to work in. (much like comics, i'm sure) i am really glad he's coming back to comics and can't wait to check out what he'll be doing.
