Dan Slott popped by during the Joe Q Q and A session and dropped this little nugget:

And *shameless plug*, in case you haven't heard-- YES, HAWKEYE'S showing up in our first couple issues of the new SHE-HULK book. Not a dream, not a hoax, not HOUSE OF M-- just the one-and-only Avenging Archer, Clint Barton! We're startin' up again THIS October, pop on by for some Gamma-Gal-Goodness!

What does it mean??

Scott JB

It means She-Hulk should have better starting sales than the last volume.

We already knew that he was at least in issue #1, good to know he's sticking around for awhile. I bet Slott writes a killer Hawkeye.

There was a What If? story where Hawkeye and Sh-Hulk had a child together. http://jerome.galica.free.fr/marvel/whatif/Mustang-CBartonJr.gif

I have that. It was cool.

I look at it in fond hopes that characters will be allowed to age and have kids and move the fuck out of the spotlight.

I thought Hawkeye was the Swordsman. I read it on the internet.

Could it possibly be that he's alive post-House of M? (Easy solution that no one seems to have posted.)

I think it was debunked, too. :?

I'm really looking forward to seeing Dan write Hawkeye--not to mention Hawkeye and She-Hulk together! The two of them have a fun relationship, so this should be a blast!

I'm hoping that Hawkeye is the new regular cast member that Dan said he was adding to the series! He said it would be another superhero, but not necessarily a lawyer.

I think it is CLint's ghost. Did he rule out ghosts?

Someone (and by someone of course I mean any Marvel writer) please make Hawkeye join the Avengers, please please please.

HOWEVER, DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE TO SMILE AS YOU THINK TO YOURSELF, "WELL, HE WILL IN A WAY, SINCE RONIN IS JOINING THE AVENGERS", MOTHERFUCKER!!!

I'm trying to think why Hawkeye would need legal help after he comes back from the dead. I mean, that's gotta be most likely why he'd show up in She-Hulk's book.

Maybe all his stuff from Avengers Mansion wound up on E-bay, and some fanboy bought it and is wearing it, and Hawkeye wants to slap him with a cease and desist order.

That could happen within the pages of She-Hulk and it would be great.
