Am i the only one who doesn't see the appeal of Andy Lee's "art"?
No offense but what has he done before?

Am i the only one who doesn't see the appeal of Andy Lee's "art"?Yeah,probably...To each their own I guess.

But I spent most of my Megacon experience at the Andy Lee table.
He's done mostly covers. He has an upcoming adaption of Beowulf

This is very cool news.

About time, I don't think Andy gets the respect he deserves.

I agree! Andy has some really beautiful stuff, which you can see on this site: http://www.findandy.com. (http://www.findandy.com)

This book sounds like it's going to be incredible - with Mack's imagination and Lee's gorgeous brushwork it'll be something worth picking up!

I agree whole-heartedly. Andy is the man and it'll be fun catching up in Pitt. Maybe I can get a little more out of them on this book...just cuz I'm nosey. :D

ANDY and DAVID have a great chemistry together (I know that sounds gay but I mean in that only sorta-gay way) so I can see this book being brilliant.

Good luck boys!

Oh and here's a SPIDER JERUSALEM painting--my favorite one I've collected so far--by MR. LEE:

I like Andy quite a bit. He was really cool at Dragon Con and I got a toaster poster from him.

Actually after reading that link in more detail--this may be the book that Andy and David have been talking about for quite awhile...I'm not sure what the status of this book is but its been under the radar for at least a year or more.

Catch him at a con sometime and watch him work. The guy's amazing.

Here's a painting that he did for me in Chicago last year.
Unfortunately this scan doesn't show about two inches worth of painting on the the left side and the bottom.

We debuted it at San Diego Comic Con with a Special Convention Edition of our graphic novel, Beowulf the Legend, art by Andy Lee, written by Stephen L. Antczak (me) and James C. Bassett.

We submitted it to Diamond at Chicago Wizard World, am should hear back from them next week. In the meantime, we are trying to get the store up on our web site, VLEComics.com, where we will be selling it for $14.99.

In the meantime, anyone can order it directly from me via Paypal using this email address: sla@visiblelightent.com for $14.99. Free shipping! And I will try to make sure Andy signs it!
