Sketches and the Chicago con!

Heya peoples! Sorry I've been absent from here for a while, internet in general actually, but with buying a house (on a different continent no less) and loads of work I've had very little free time.

But, seeing as how I am going to Wizard World Chicago I thought to offer a little appreciation your way. The first 5 people who will go to the show and would like a sketch by me, post your request (single characters only please, anyone you want) and a name you'd like it personalized to (that will prevent someone else being tempted to pretend they are you, and no ebay...). I am limiting it to 5 because I don't have the time for more, and these will be a little more elaborate than my standard con sketches.

I will do these before the show so if you track me down I should have them for you. Now, I have no idea what my schedule will be like but I will be there at least on Friday and Saturday.

Anyhow, I hope there is 5 of you out there who would like this AND are going to the show.

Which part of the show you going to be hanging at? Marvel area or back in artist alley?

Oh, I guess I should've clarified that. I am going mainly as a tourist, no artist alley, only whatever Marvel wants me to do. I imagine the best way would be to check the signings schedule and see when I'm around. Although my wife and I will probably be walking around quite a bit to find ridiculous things to spend money on, so feel free to flag me down.

Also, I am quite surprised not a single request was for Iron Man. Usually 9 out of 10 people at cons want me to draw IM. I am not complaining though as it'll be fun to draw something else. I've always wanted to draw Doom, and I hope to do something with him in it at some point. Never drawn Phoenix either. DD and Wolverine I've done for people at cons and they are always lots of fun for very different reasons.

If I get them done before I leave for the States I'll scan them myself. But that is questionable as I leave in about 10 days. Otherwise the owners will have to post them if they wish.

I figured I can always see the Iron Man in the comics, and would rather see you do something different. Really looking forward to seeing the DD sketch.

thank you so much adi. i kind of figured you'd be doing a million and one iron man sketches in chicago, and i will be the "and one" person:D so, i wanted something else. phoenix means a lot to me, since i will be getting a tattoo of one in memory of my sister in the near future. i haven't found the perfect one yet, but you never know, your sketch might be just what i'm looking for (no pressure intended).

Marvel table only. I am coming in only for a couple of days with my wife so we really didn't want to make big commitments with the artists alley and such.

But, if Bendis can spend 20 min on signing those humongous piles people bring him, I can do so on a sketch ;)
