Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know that I'll be making my first ever (yay!) visit to NYC during the week of 4th June to attend BEA (Book Expo America (http://www.bookexpoamerica.com/)).

I'll also be a guest at the Teen Author Carnival (http://teenauthorcarnival.tumblr.com/post/22764696981/teen-author-carnival-2012-author-list) on the evening of Tues, 5th June at Jefferson Market Library (wherever the heck that is!).

You know, in case anyone was going to be in town that week... :)

About a week, but I will be on a bit of a work-related schedule. i.e. running around trying to Do All The Things I'm told to by my publisher. ;) However, I will have some free time for sure on a couple of evenings, as well as Fri 8th and Sat 9th.

I definitely wouldn't recommend any big trips on anyone's part - much as I would LOVE that - because of the potential limits on my time. This is more for people who live in or around the area (like, I have friend who is 90 mins away by train, so she'll come into the city at some stage), or happen to be visiting that week.

Sadly, I didn't even make the June one! We had to cancel for a variety of very boring reasons.

I'd absolutely love to come in the autumn - one day I really want to do NYCC - but this year is not going to be possible due to lack of money and too many deadlines. ;)

My goal is Fall 2013.
