I was so mad! I had to leave to catch my flight so I couldn't hang around for the signing. Hope it went well.

Gabriele -- Man, your Daredevil is awesome! And, I did come across a few sketches you did of Iron Man on a site with your covers. I wrote to you before about Iron Man as a figure of horror, but with no response. It looks like horror is an underlying thesis to a lot of your stuff. Can you talk about that a bit as an artists? How it informs your work? Mucho Gracias!

Hi Man,
sorry I can't answer to you before,
but in this period I'm really busy, you Iron man idea is not bad, but it's look like black spiderman/Venom costume...almost.
I think it could be a nice graphicnovel

Hi Chrismarker
I think I have not enough space here to write all my influences...
But I can tell you who are my favourites:
Mignola, Buscema, B.W. Smith, Herman, John Romita, Moebius, Glenn Fabbry, Esad Ribic, David Mack, Arthur Adams, Travis Charest, Giuseppe Camucoli, Adi Granov, Madureira, Jim Lee, Kevin Nowlan, Adam Huges, Jason Pearson, Jae Lee, Alex Malev....etc, etc....
I could continue for ten pages...eh, eh, eh!

Gabriele -- thanks a lot! Just a quick question and comment -- if you have the time.
1) What style or school of art most influenced you? Surrealism? Decadent? Gothic? Baroque? (And what artists in those styles?).
2) I was thinking my Iron Man would look like a human deformed by some nuclear horror: part of him still visibly human -- like the classic Iron Man --- but another part hideously malformed -- his face specifically -- so that to look at him would be awful -- a constant reminder of our own inhumanity to eachother.
Thanks Again!
