I leave them on the burner until they reach a boil, then I move the pot to a cold burner. I let them sit until they either cool a bit, or I remember and I put them in the fridge.

In yet another list issue, Rolling Stone sees Frank Zappa as No. 22 on the 50 Greatest Guitarists List. (http://www.rollingstone.com/music/lists/100-greatest-guitarists-20111123/frank-zappa-19691231)
"When I was learning how to play guitar, I was obsessed with that album," Phish's Trey Anastasio said in 2005 of Frank Zappa's 1981 collection of intricate and blistering solos, Shut Up 'n' Play Yer Guitar. "Every boundary that was possible on the guitar," Anastasio said, "was examined by him in ways that other people didn't." As the absolute boss of his bands, including the legendary lineups of the Mothers of Invention, Zappa fused doo-wop, urban blues, big-band jazz and orchestral modernism with an iron hand. As a guitarist, he drew from all of those sources, then improvised with a furious and genuine delight. His soloing on "Willie the Pimp," on 1969's Hot Rats, is an extended studio party of greasy distortion, chomping wah-wah and agitatedblues slaloms. In concert, Zappa would "walk around, doing his thing, conducting," Anastasio recalled. But when he picked up his guitar for a solo, "he was completely in communion with his instrument... It just became soul music."
Key Tracks: "Willie the Pimp," "In-a-Gadda-Stravinsky"

Allegedly this was voted upon by other big name guitarists. I think Edge barely making the top 50 suggests he's not the minimalist master that the magazine has asserted all these years. But I do agree with Dave Gilmour's relative high placement based on the solos from Comfortably Numb alone. I'd put Brian May higher because he can play seemingly any kind of genre.

This puts buk's sausage preparation comment in perspective.
I batted .500 with those late night/early morning sausages.
The jalapeño one was strong, but the apple whatever one was too sweet.
Also, my mustard selection is pretty thin right now...

Voigt's mirror conversations come almost eight years before DeNiro in Taxi Driver.
