I could see it working pretty well outside the context of a full DC Universe. Needs at least a solid budget, but more than anything a likeable lead and some good supporting players. I only kinda/sorta know my Booster lore. Outside or Skeets, is there anyone obvious to include as supporting players? Maybe Rip Hunter and some of the time travel or tech-based characters from the DCU?

You know what would be so much better?

A Booster Gold/Blue Beetle buddy comedy show from the people who are bringing us the current Green Lantern show on cartoon network.

That would be way better.
