Let e start out by saying that I, as of this time, have not actually played any of the Phoenix Wright games, due to my lack of owning a DS. However, I always had interest in them from the time I heard the concept. And now, this trailer for the film adaptation (directed by Takashi Miike) has popped up.

Now, despite the sheer volume of exposure of had to the country's pop culture, I don't speak Japanese (watching Japanese TV shows doesn't teach you Japanese?? ZOMG!) and this trailer has no subtitles, so I have no idea what the plot of this film is or if there even really is one, but based on the visuals alone, I want to see this.

I'm pretty much in this boat; never played the games, but liked the concept/enjoyed the "OBJECTION!" meme. Also a casual Miike fan, so I've been looking forward to seeing this. Looks pretty fun/over the top. Hope an enterprising fan subs that trailer!
