I just watched some of this panel online and Kelly Sue was seriously (in a totally non-sucking-up kinda way) AWESOME. I wish I'd been there and am going to do my best to make it in 2012.
Oh, and I love that she said "vagina". Go, Kelly Sue! :)

It was remarkable. Really outstanding.
In addition to the actual panel commentary, it was really moving to be part of a room full of passionate supporters of the growth of the number of women in every possible niche of the industry.
The energy was something else, it really was.
I celebrated at the end by promptly fulfilling a stereotype and blubbering all over Jeanine Schaefer and Kelly Sue by way of expressing my appreciation.
It was one of my greatest moments. Truly*.
Where do you live?
Can you come and play with us next year??
*It was not one of my greatest moments.

Thanks for talking more about it - I would love to have been there. I'm sure the blubbering was a GREAT moment. Heh. ;)
I live in the UK, and I haven't been able to afford to travel anywhere (apart from Dublin *happy sigh*) for 3 years. However! 2012 is a possibility. I am tentatively scheduled to attend BEA (Book Expo America) in New York in June. That would be all business. But if I can pull the funds together I may try to do New York Comic Con later that year (which would be all pleasure!). Two US trips in one year is probably at least one trip too many for my budget, but we'll see...
