A full Year after e-book competition Barns&Noble launched their 7" tablet Amazon finally unveiled their long rumored tablet.

spec wise its not really all that impressive, but neither was the Nook Color and it certainly drew inn a crowd last year.
Thew Kindle Fire has a 1GHz Dual-core TI OMPA CPU with 512MBram, It comes with 8 GB storage and 1024x600.
Unfortunately it has no Camera or GPS and the Operating system is a very heavenly worked over version of Android so it does not have access to any Google serveses like the Android Market, Thankfully Amazon has had a Android Appstore for almost a year now, but it lacks 300 to 400 thousand Apps the Android market has.
The Screen resolution is Okeyish for a 7 inch screen however around the same time as this goes on sale Samsung launched the latest version of their baby Galaxy Tab that has a 7.7inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a resolution of 1280×768.

so everything seems a little outdated with the Kindle Fire... however they make up for it with the price
It will only cost $199, Far cheaper the any other tablet in its size range.

so will you get one? or a more powerful tablet and just download the Kindle app?

The lack of 3G is a deal killer for me.
