OMG!!! That's crazy. I'm in Vermont and I didn't feel anything where I am so I'm guessing it didn't travel in this direction. Or I could have just missed it. Wouldn't be the first time that's happened to me actually.

It was small. I shook a little at work, but that's it.
I was on the phone with a client when the quake hit, and naturally everyone jumps up and starts talking. I couldn't hear my customer.
So weird, just got home there's a lot of construction being done on my street. At first I thought it was a crane or something and then naturally terrorism flashes through your thoughts, unfortunately. Thank god it looks like everyone is okay. I hope people up on awnings don't get hurt.

I turned on NY 1 and they were showing a live press conference from this Dominique Strauss Kahn mishagas, and suddenly the whole press room just went nuts. Pretty alarming to witness. Thankfully it looks like it wasn't that big or anything serious.

It was centered near Richmond, VA. I felt it here at the South Jersey shore. I thought I was standing still and thought I was getting dizzy, so walked a little, was still 'dizzy', and was about to call for help when all the stained glass ornaments at my windows started to clink against the glass...then I realized it was the earth moving, and not me.
Crazy.

When it first hit, my co-workers and I (here in the suburbs north of Philly) knew right off the bat what it was. I was talking to a guy at the same time from Media PA (about 30 miles southeast of here) and he felt it, so then I checked Twitter and of course my whole feed was filled with Earthquake talk.
