Marvel solicitations for November 2011 are up (http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=34012).
The Marvel 50th anniversary covers are pretty fun!

Shocked to see an Age of Apocalypse omnibus. I bought the paperbacks recently. Looks like it's missing the 10 year anniversary mini-series.

And it's always a pleasure to see Elektra: Assassin back in print, a great Frank Miller & Bill Sienkiewicz classic. Though I'm not crazy about spacing "Elektra" and "Assassin." It just looks so odd.

Re: Double shipping.
Yeah.
Rick Remender tweeted about that this weekend, wondering why having more stories from the industries top talent was a bad thing. And it's not. Believe me, if I had the dough to buy 'em all, I would. But I don't. And mid-range books get squeezed out.

Exactly. It's just too much to buy all at once.

I'll basically be getting what I'm getting now, but I'll be adding Legion of Monsters, Villains for Hire, John Carter: A Princess of Mars, Avenging Spider-Man and Annihilators: Earthfall.

Wolverine & X-Men #2
Written by JASON AARON
Cover and Pencils by CHRIS BACHALO
Marvel Comics 50th Anniversary
Variant by ED McGUINNESS
X-MEN REGENSIS
Wolverine and his X-Men have very little chance of surviving the new Hellfire Club. And that’s without another classic villain (the villain of the most important X-Story ever) returning!
32 PGS./Rated T+ …$3.99

Some thoughts:
-When is that Untold Tales omnibus coming? The longer the wait, the better (I've got stuff to pay for), but I still wanna get my hands on that.
-That Wolverine and the X-Men cover is awesome. Loving Kaare Andrews USM covers, too.
-Black Panther sounds very cool.

Funny to see Fantastic Four #600 after they were so firm that the original series had ended and that Future Foundation was a whole new thing.
I wonder if we'll be getting a Wolverine #300 in December or January since it would correspond with #21.

Shouldn't John Carter be "Warlord of Mars"? Or is he really going to dress in drag?

A PRINCESS OF MARS was the name of the original Edgar Rice Burroughs story. While Dejah Thoris is the titular character, John Carter is the protagonist of the series. JOHN CARTER is the name of the Disney film, so Marvel's using it to brand the franchise.

Does anyone know if Silvestri is only doing the first arc of Hulk? And McNiven / Cap and Coipel / Thor are similar situations, right?
