View Full Version : Heading to NYC in August...Looking to hook up w/ BenBo Boarders for Sunday Brunch...

My husband and I are heading to NYC in August.

We are celebrating our 6th year wedding anniversary (and 18 years together).

We hit NYC on our honeymoon after we were married. So it seemed like a find idea to hit the city again for our anniversary.

We will be there Fri August 12 - Sunday August 14th.

Friday we are going to arrive early and go kayaking/biking about the city all day.

Saturday, we are meeting some very old friends, hitting Hi Line park, Chelsea Market, going out for dinner (not sure where yet), and we have tickets for the 8 PM performance of HAIR (our favorite musical, which we have seen now about 6 times in the last year).

But, I don't want to leave the city without hooking up with my BenBo brothers and sisters (if they are available).

So, if people have sunday, August 14th open, and can decide on a delicious brunch spot, I'd love to see you guys/gals.

We plan on heading out of the city by about 3 PM, so an earlier brunch would be better (say around 11 A.M.)

Perhaps I should have had a debauched drink up followed by a strip club visit...?

Heh. If I lived in the NYC area, brunch with you guys would be awesome. Sadly, however, I do not :(

Oh I would have been happy to show you some great brunch places, but I'm out of town that weekend.
It's for a good geek cause though - Star Trek convention!

Just saw you link to this in the drink up thread Ron. I will most certainly try if I'm free that sunday morning once you've decided on a spot. Hope you guys have a great trip regardless!

I wish I could tell you what my work schedule looks like on that week, but my work is crap so I don't even know. I would love to go though.
