Hi all,
I'm about to travel to the US (Florida to be specific) on business for the first time and am keen to be connected to the www as much as possible for emails, Skype etc.
I have an unlocked, portable wifi 'dongle' that converts 3G phone signal into wifi, but what I need is a SIM with a decent data package. In the UK this would be easy as all the operators offer 30 day, SIM only contracts that you can just buy from stores, but from a quick Google it looks like decent mobile data is at a premium in the US.
So my question is, can anyone recommend a decent pay-as-you-go or short-term contract or just an operator to look at, that's going to give me a decent amount of data, say 1GB?
Conversely, are there any networks or packages I should definitely avoid?
I know I could just pop into a Starbucks/McDonalds/etc. but didn't fancy spending that much money on food :)
Thanks in advance!
