I think I could do it? I'm sure it would be scary but heights never really bother me...

You would be 1,168 off the ground. That's crazy!

I can't do that stuff well. I am trying to psyche myself up to jump out of an air plane. I don't want to do it tandem, but I am not sure I will be ale to get myself out all on my own yet.

I couldn't imagine jumping out of a plane.

I couldn't imagine jumping out of a plane.

Can you imagine getting thrown out of one?

Is that a threat?

Is that a threat?

No just a curiosity.

I imagine you'd have less control over getting thrown out of a plane, less time to think about it.

Could I imagine it? Sure. But it would be more like a nightmare.

Oh come on you'd have a parachute.

Nope,

There was an episode of CSI: NY (IIRC) where they were on top of the Empire State building (I think) and even that made me feel sick

That would be fun, if scary. I mean, intellectually you'd know you were strapped on fairly securely but still...

I jumped out of a plane once. We were 12,000 feet up. At that point it's not a height, it's a distance. The plane we jumped out of had one of those back doors that open up below the tail, like you see in military movies all the time. They never actually closed this door the whole time. We were so far up that, quite honestly, standing there in the open door, I don't think my brain could fully comprehend what I was looking at. There was no frame of reference, not even riding in a regular commercial plane. That made it less frightening, it was like my brain was rationalizing "We can't be standing 12,000 feet up. That would be crazy."

I wasn't the only one who was having a bit of a disconnect. As my friend said, "It looks like we are jumping on to a giant quilt."

To which another friend retorted, "Great. I'm fucking terrified of quilts."

I didn't even like walking on that thick glass section of the floor they have in there where you can see straight down. :scared:

Looks relatively safe what with the harnesses and all, I think I could muster up the courage.

Wait, how much money is this for?

Cool. I'll do it next time I go to Toronto. Would I be allowed to pee off the edge?

I just saw it costs $175 to do this. I'm not interested anymore. :)

I believe it's $175. Another reason why I wouldn't do it.
