Anybody else ever wish we could have a Holly Granger/Don Hall team? I'd settle for it in an Elseworlds, Flashpoint, a Booster Gold mini...

I've never been a huge Hawk & Dove person. But Holly and Don interest me more than Hank and Dawn. And I think their chemistry would be cooler.

I don't know that there's an easy route to get there, especially just AFTER a mass resurrection.

But that's the Hawk & Dove team I'd rather read about.

That would be interesting.

I thought this was going to be about the short-lived Hawk and Dove from the 90's who never appeared again.

I thought this was going to be about the 90s Hawk & Dove, too.

That said, I honestly expected one of the outcomes of Blackest Night/Brightest Day to be a 'Hawks and Doves' series, with Hank, Holly, Don and Dawn all back from the dead. It seemed something was afoot with Don's "At Rest" statements but no-one ever went anywhere with it.

It was foreshadowing for Dove's own connection to the White Light.

Whatever happened to 90's Hawk and Dove? Did they end up as event fodder?

Which in itself was never explained. She just.... had it.

Yup. Never explained, only really used during Darkest Night ... and never mentioned after that.

Someone should get in touch with michael moorcock and set up a hawk and dove vs elric crossover. Or just have zauriel fight them.

Fixed. ;)

And yeah it was. A bunch of times during Brightest Day actually. The nature of it though? Going to take a very wild guess and posit that it's an overarching mystery... Or they just dumped it. *shrugs*

Still better than those goddamn hippies with wings. *shudders*

Not so far. To the best of my knowledge, both of them still survive. Of course, if they'd joined the Teen Titans, they'd be dead by now....

Or just have Jerry Cornelius shot them all.

Am I misremembering or did the 90s Hawk and Dove fight crime with guitars?

Dove had a guitar.

Hawk had a gun.

One of the very very few DC comics of the 90s that I never read.

On another note, when I was growing up (and to this day really) Dove has always been a girl. I can't even look at the male Dove without thinking about how silly he looks in a girl's costume.
