No, it's tabloid writing to make things sound dynamic and kinetic. But they immediately become a din, a constant white noise of raised voices.
Look at the papers and magazines that constantly use exclamations in headlines and articles and those that don't. You'll see a distinction in credibility and quality.

Apparently, Triple H feels that with 'Taker off the road, Shawn Michaels retired, and HHH himself now in the office, the locker room has a leadership void. "John Cena is obviously the leader of the Raw side, and Orton has stepped up behind the scenes on Smackdown," we were told by another key WWE insider, "but the veteran voice in the locker room is missing, and both (WWE Chairman) Vince (McMahon) and Triple H are trying to stop a trend that is definitely developing!"

WWE Very Determined To Re-Sign Rey Mysterio
Several key WWE sources have informed us that the new priority for talent executive John Laurinaitis is to re-sign Rey Mysterio, whose contract expires early in 2012.
"Laurinaitis has a lot of egg on his face right now," we were told, "think about all the talent that has refused to re-sign. Jericho wouldn't re-sign. MVP wouldn't re-sign. Punk won't re-sign. Even undercard wrestlers like Chavo (Guerrero) won't re-sign right now. Laurinaitis needs a key re-signing to keep his corporate credibility alive right now!"
With the serious fallout from CM Punk's homophobic remarks in Australia, Laurinaitis has targeted keeping Rey Mysterio in the fold as a demonstration to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon he still has the talent under control. "Laurinaitis always had big shoes to fill since he took over from Jim Ross," we were told, "now he has to produce results. This is going to be very interesting to watch!"

This wouldn't be the first time the WWE lied to GLAAD about a storyline. They gave that group a happy line about the upcoming Billy/Chuck wedding, and GLAAD was pissed when the relationship was revealed to be a lie to boost the team's profile.
Also, hey GLAAD, the guy has a Cobra tattoo. He's obviously the bad guy.

Personally I don't think so, but my opinion means little since I'm not gay (even though Todd wishes I was).
When face Cena used 'homo' as a pejorative, it was for the express purpose that queer activists cringe at. Somehow (somehow...insert jokes here), being gay is emasculating; it's utilized in a promo for gaining the upper-hand. That reinforces everything shitty and homophobic about the slur.
We can hide under the pretense of "that's their job" all day, but a heel doing it is equally as shitty. Generating heat by exploiting homophobia, transphobia, queer hate - which is, you know, very real and very detrimental to an emerging part of the populace - is shitty.
What sucks about both of them is that it's so lazy. It's cheap heat or a cheap pop. When Cena (as a face) did it, he tapped into an overwhelmingly homophobic sentiment found within WWE's audience and used it against his opponent. That was a cheap way of rallying fans behind him and against the heel (Hunter's notorious for that shit too). It's uninspired, much like tapping into that already existing "state/town pride" when mentioning a local monument/hotspot or sports team in a promo.
When a heel labels a face as such, it's to shame them, thus making the fans cry for blood that this asshole would dare degrade their favorite star's name. Again, they extract the audience's own ignorance and homophobia and concentrate it within the promo. You may as well use their disdain for the rival town while you're at it.
It's especially disconcerting in wrestling because of the threat of violence attached to promos/words/use of 'fag' or 'homo.' Dem's fightin' words and all that. It's yet another agent of reinforcing violence on anyone who identifies as queer.
That's not the same as someone - especially those of the marginalized/subjugated class - reappropriating a slur (like fag) and using it in different contexts than what an oppressive group does. That's the whole 'taking back a word' strategy. That's subverting the potency/power of a hateful epithet (I KNOW SOCIOLOGY TEXTBOOK 101 SHUT UP MASCULINE TODD). I've never seen it used that way in WWE.

Right. Homophobia aside (and that's a huge aside), it's uninspired. It's unimaginative. It's contrived. It's boring. It'll get a brief pop, but that's because of a predisposition against anything queer. It won't stick with the fan. Calling Cody Rhodes a cocksucker won't escalate a feud in any way memorable. After John Cena defeated CM Punk in the main event of the WWE live event in Brisbane yesterday, Punk took the mic and put over Cena, showing respect. Punk then started talking about The Rock, saying that while Rock is off filming movies, Cena is here in sickness and health performing for the WWE Universe. Punk and Cena shook hands before he left.
Cena then spoke, also putting over Punk and showing respect. Cena called Punk the best wrestler in WWE right now and said their Money in the Bank match will be the match of the year. Even bigger than he and The Rock at WrestleMania, he said.
Adios, Punk. Nice knowing ya...

Also, Kevin Steen shoots an open letter over to ROH:
The following is from SteenWrestling.com:
The second I heard it, I got a feeling in the pit of my stomach that I will never forget.
So many things went through my mind...how could I end up in this situation? What can I do to fix it? Is it too late to change things? And most of all...how could I live without Ring Of Honor?
I heard the sound that signified my career in ROH was over and my heart sank. Actually, it felt more like it started bleeding.
All I wanted from the beginning of my wrestling career was to make an impact on as many people as I could and work for a company I would be proud to call home. Many promotions helped me achieve but in the past few years, my entire career was consumed by Ring Of Honor. When my son was born I had to make some very tough choices and I had to recude my schedule with wrestling companies that were very close to my heart but I chose to remain with ROH through it all, as difficult as it was, because that's where I felt I belonged.
I was with ROH for over four years. I saw a lot of people come and go. And I honestly never thought that eventually some of the newer guys would see me go...
But I made decisions over the course of those four years that greatly impacted several people. And a lot of them might never forgive me for those decisions.
I can't bring myself to list everyone I hurt and every bad choice I made. It would be counter-productive anyway. What I want to do is look to the future and make things right.
I've stayed in touch with the ROH product. I've read the results from the shows, watched the videowires. I even bought the iPPV's. And everytime I'd watch, I would see exactly what I expected. The best wrestling in the world put on by the hardest working crew in the business.
But there's one thing I'd see that I did NOT expect at all.
Steve Corino, standing in the ring, apologizing for his actions of the last year. A humbled Steve Corino, offering to help the up-and-coming talent. A Steve Corino desperate to make up for past mistakes, standing up for what's right.
I'll be honest, that blew me away. And what blew me away even more is the way the fans forgave him. They welcomed his new ways and accepted him with open arms. Seeing all this helped me come to a realization...I had to do the same.
I've wanted to send this letter for a long time but I never gathered the stenght I needed to do it. Until now...
This past week has seen Steve Corino, my idol, ask for help from me. It has seen ROH officials declare that I am not welcome in New York City on Sunday. I really can't blame them for that.
But what I can do is ask for a chance to show them who I am now. A chance to come make things right. A chance to help my friend.
Jim, Syd, Ross...I know the last year was very hard for the both of you, with all the changes the company went through. And I know that my erratic behavior certainely didn't help. I'm well aware of the legal trouble I got the company into a few times and that I am possibly responsible for Cary Silkin's decision to sell the company. I can't deny the fact that I was out for myself and that I put myself before the company at all times. However, what you guys can't deny is that as risky and out of control as I may have been, I still created more memorable moments in 2010 than anyone else. You can't deny that I poured my heart and soul into my work. You can't deny that I gave 100% of my mind to ROH...I almost lost my mind in the process.
But these months away have done me some good and seeing Steve, and now Jimmy, act the way they do has been very eye-opening for me. I, too, am a changed man. I'm in better shape, physically and mentally. And above all else, I miss ROH. I miss the people. I miss the fans. I miss the rush.
I'm not asking for a new contract. I'm not asking for the company to commit to having me on the shows. I'm not a fool. All I want is a chance to come in Sunday, stand by my friend and show you that I can be what this company has wanted me to be this whole time. We can see where to go from there after...
One thing is certain. I will be in New York on Sunday.
What remains uncertain is if I'll be in the building to support Steve, or if I'll have to support him by simply waiting by his car and hope for the best for him.
I want to be in there though.
Steve wants it...and the fans want it too.
You have the power to let it happen.
Thank you,
See you Sunday...

From the Observer
Alex Marvez did an interview with Zach Gowen, who talked about recently going through WWE sponsored rehab. Gowen who developed drug and alcohol problems during, if not before his WWE stint, fell apart after being fired in 2004 for having a bad attitude. “When the rug got pulled out from under me and the spotlight faded, I lost my identity,” he said. “I was with my dream girl and had a dream job. All of a sudden, my dream job is no longer, the money runs out, the girl leaves and I’m left with myself thinking about how I ended up here. All the insecurities and bad feelings I had before I was in WWE came back, much much harder than before. I found comfort in drugs. I remember the night I fell in love with them. I felt good about myself. I thought, `This is the solution,’ and they were for a very long time. At some point, the solution became the problem and I couldn’t stop. When I wasn’t high, I felt miserable. It then got to the point that even when I was high, I felt miserable.” Gowen said he spent two years unsuccessfully trying to rid himself of drugs before he contacted WWE for rehab. He credited Ann Russo-Gordon of WWE, who is the coordinator of the program, for saving his life. He’s now doing work as a stuntman in Hollywood and is looking at writing an autobiography and wants to be a motivational speaker.

Regarding the deal with Brock Lesnar, while the contract I don’t think has been signed, the creative on the deal (not a television appearance thing as noted) has been worked out and people close to it are talking of it like it’s done. It’s still not announced because you have so many different moving parts including Lesnar, Heyman, Vince McMahon, Dana White and others in the middle of all this, and if only one spoke of that wheel has a change of heart (outside of Heyman), the whole deal collapses.

Punk giving WWE the rights to his name was an issue in the past. It would indicate both a new deal has been reached in some form. Regarding Punk’s ownership of his name, even though WWE has trademarked the name, since Punk brought the name with him into the business relationship, they can never stop him from using it after leaving the relationship because he created the intellectual property. This just gives WWE the right to merchandise the name and likeness.
Interesting.

Dustin Runnels (a/k/a Goldust) is working as a producer backstage until he recovers from his shoulder injury. He has been sidelined since December.
-- Sin Cara and Justin Gabriel are advertised to appear at the Canal Walk Shopping Centre in Cape Town, South Africa tomorrow beginning at 10:00 a.m. Canal Walk Shopping Centre is located at Shop 65, Century Boulevard, Century City, Milnerton, Cape Town.
-- Monty Lynch and Russell Walker have been removed from Florida Championship Wrestling's roster page, which would indicate that they have been released by WWE.
Lynch, whose real name is Oliver Biney, signed a developmental contract with WWE last September following a tryout in his native England. He formerly competed as "Bad News" Rampage Brown.
Walker, whose real name is Reuben de Jong, is a 6'10" wrestler from New Zealand that bears a similar resemblance to Sheamus. He joined WWE in February, but was used sparingly in FCW. Prior to entering the world of professional wrestling in 2009, de Jong competed as a kickboxer, mixed martial artist and strongman.

Gail Kim posted several messages on her Twitter account criticizing WWE creative for not utilizing the Divas to their fullest extent.
Kim wrote the following regarding her match last week with Beth Phoenix on WWE Superstars: "Thank u! The response of our match has been unbelievable and it was TRULY a dream come true. Imagine if we were given a storyline or some more time behind it! Sigh...."
She then wrote the following in response to a Twitter follower wishing WWE would bring former Women's Champion Trish Stratus back to the fold: "There's not a lack of talent, it's the lack of time, storylines and use of talent!"
Kim then wrote a message to Stratus longing for days gone by: "I would love to go back to what we had back in those years! Those were like ironwoman matches back then compared to now lol."
Following Kim's critical messages, a follower remarked to Kim: "Instead of bitching; why don't you leave? People could perceive your tweets a bad attitude?" Kim, however, feels she's telling the truth.
She responded, "Oh thats not #!@%*#ing lol just the truth :) and I don't live my life based on what people perceive. Can't please everyone all the time."
Kim then said she's happy to be a regular on WWE Superstars because she gets to "wrestle."
"Sometimes I don't realize how long I haven't been on RAW because I still wrestle on superstars," Kim wrote. "Which I love because I get to WRESTLE for longer than 3 min and actually have singles matches! Hopefully soon...:)))"

http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe/JR_Blog_Wrestling_s_Old_Days_Upcoming_HOF_Honor_JB L_and_More.html
Jim Ross is back with a new blog over on jrsbarbq.com. Here are highlights from this entry:
- Yes...I will definitely be in Waterloo, Iowa on July 22-23 for the annual function at the Wrestling Hall of Fame. Receiving the Lou Thesz Award is a helluva honor for me personally. Lou was truly our Babe Ruth and I never saw him not wearing at least a sport coat and slacks when he wasn't in the ring. A class act. If you haven't read 'Hooker' written by Lou I suggest that you do. Great book on the history of the business from a legit tough guy's point of view.
- I indeed still do speak with JBL and did so recently. He's busy, John will be on Neal Cavuto's show on Fox Business Channel Thursday night at 6 eastern, and is doing his share of golfing and deep sea fishing in Bermuda. I regret never getting the opportunity to never broadcast with the talkative Texan in my career. Never say never.
- Can today's rosters be utilized like the rosters of the late 90's and early 2000's? Nope. Without the benefit of a viable, wrestling territory experience, many of today's younger talents are still learning on the job. Their predecessors, by and large, learned their craft in a wrestling territory. I know that excludes the Rock who was a 3rd generation talent as that's a different ball game, more often that not. Many of today's wrestlers are being fed a little at a time in hopes that they will break away and take the ball and run with it.
- No...for many fans who yearn for the 'old days,' wrestling will likely NEVER be the same. Is that an overwhelmingly negative statement? It's not meant to be as time will tell where the stars of tomorrow will take us. I'm optimistic of the future but it seems that some aren't.

Interesting.
What is interesting? Did you actually think WWE would own the name CM Punk even after he left? Why do you think they usually make new guys change names ala Low Ki/Kaval? That way when they leave the WWE DOES own that name. In most cases if a wrestler signs with their real name or existing gimmick the WWE is just leasing it. It's funny. Almost every time someone leaves I see an "article" wondering if said wrestler would have to change their name elsewhere.

If he is going to post stories, can you comment why he thinks we need to know this? (and I don't mean "hmm" or "interesting")
just copying and posting stories that get reposted on every gossip page out there is flat out annoying.
We all do that from time to time with a story here or there, or if it is a big story(like the recent Punk stuff), but some luggage going missing while traveling, and stuff like that?

I feel like if G-phyn had never shown up IGotKittyPryde would have posted some awesome fantasy booking on what should happen with Punk by now and we'd all be debating why it is/isn't plausible, we'd be discussing Punk's outburst and apology way more in depth and there'd be more general discussion on just how boring Randy Orton has become. Also, Todd would never have gone into business for himself.
And while we've metamorphosized into a whole new entity, a Groupon slagging machine, I miss those days dammit.

Grip Hon's rhetorical questions changed the tenor of this forum from awesome fantasy booking and quality discussion into a call and response for what Gryhpon does. It really is the greatest troll job in the history of the U Mad face. And instead of allowing our dreams to take flight? We have Lords of Wrestlezone! And as you can tell? WRESTLENEWZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
http://web.archive.org/web/20000831020002/http://www.wrestleboard.com/messages/394.shtml
-Lance Storm had a booking on TSN's "Off the Record" pulled by the office and nobody is clear as to why they'd turn down one of their wrestlers getting national prime time exposure in Canada, particularly since TSN just signed a five-year renewal of its WCW deal.
-Konnan had his pay cut in half because he's injured even though he's been at almost every TV.
-On the PPV, Jarrett called Booker T "boy" several times.
-There has been talk of doing an angle where Vampiro would kidnap and torture one of the TV announcers.
-WCW has decided to cut back on the Australia tour. Originally they were going to send 80 people total, now the figure is less than 40, and probably only two announcers.
-A legit reason, as opposed to a simple ratings ploy, why the first Russo interview didn't air, could be his strong references to Booker T being held back and never getting a chance (the only major ground he didn't cover on the second interview that did air), because of the feeling it would look real bad for the company in the real lawsuit.
-The tour dates for the United Kingdom are 11/10 at the London Arena for a Nitro taping that airs 11/13, 11/11 in Newcastle at the Telewest Arena, 11/12 in Manchester at the MEN Center for the Thunder show that airs 11/15, and 11/13 in Birmingham at the NEC Arena. They will also do one date in Germany on 11/16, most likely a Germany-only PPV date, before returning home. Goldberg is coming in on 8/30 to do a four-day promotional swing to kick off ticket sales.
-WCW filed a lawsuit on 7/24 against AWA Superstars of Wrestling claiming trademark infringement and unfair competition. The suit claimed AWA advertised that WCW trademarked talent Lenny & Lodi "might appear" at a television taping on 2/29 in Laughlin, NV (they didn't appear nor were ever booked to appear). They also claimed AWA referred to the Nitro Girls in promotional material sent to a promoter in Greely, CO for a 6/21 show (Teri Byrne, who was originally Nitro Girl Fyre before being dumped from the troupe has appeared on AWA shows). They also have sent promotional material referring to Tony DeNucci as "WCW rookie sensation" even though DeNucci has never even been affiliated with WCW.
-Add Jim Duggan and Brian Knobs to the list of those cut. Juventud Guerrera was also on the list to be cut after his contract expires.

I'm for everyone having time off throughout a two-year period, and Punk could use his hiatus as a strong story element by walking away with that ugly ass belt, allowing the WWE to have a tournament for the new belt that debuts at Summerslam. Del Rio, as the top contender, gets in the match automatically. Cena, of course, is fired for losing, so we won't see him for another week.

If Punk Stayed Fantasy Booking:
Cena vs. Punk @ MITB: Late in the match Punk hits a DDT on Cena 1, 2...kick-out. Punk's beyond pissed. While the match is still going on, he gets on the mic and calls McMahon out to watch him destroy his "chosen one." Vince turns his back on Cena and walks out, showing that he doesn't give a shit whether Cena's fired or not. Punk sets up the GTS and Cena reverses into a DDT, both guys go to a near 10-count and start duking it out, classic Rock/Austin style (yes, I know many do this, but trust me, they did it the best) with Cena getting the upperhand, going into Super Cena mode, but Punk dodges the Five-Knuckle Shuffle, putting Cena into the GTS and..reversal. Attitude Adjustment. But instead of Cena going for the pin, he walks out of the ring. 10-count. Match over. Boos for the weird ending, but it's announced that Punk gets the win, making it a bit better. Cena gets on the mic: "There Vince. Happy? You've still got your belt and, more importantly, your ego." A distraught Punk, now in his classic sitting position, sits confused and saddened, while Chicago reigns praise down on him. Cena goes back to the ring, hugs Punk who, surprisingly, returns in kind. Cena holds Punk's hand up as we leave for the night.
The next night: Cena comes out to mixed reaction and says he's sorry. He's sorry for the fans that people like Punk can't be in the WWE because Vince doesn't want WRESTLERS, he wants MOVIE STARS. Etc. etc. "NO CHANCE!" McMahon enters, solo, and says while Cena may be one of the most popular performers in the last decade, he's ultimately a soldier who is either with Vince or against him. He puts Cena in a non-title match against the #1 contender Albert Del Rio that night on Raw. Cena's about to beat ADR when Mason Ryan comes down and beats the shit out of Cena as McMahon stares on, laughing. Stuff like this keeps happening as Vince pulls his "soldiers" in, guys like Ziggler, Rhodes & Dibiase, mid-carders (helping to reintegrate brands as well).
This continues until Summerslam when Cena and ADR face off. ADR doesn't know why Vince is helping him and doesn't care. It's just a part of his destiny. Vince adds a stipulation: No DQ. Cena requests that Vince's Boardmembers (or something like that since he's "the Chairman of the WWE") be barred from ringside and lists them. Vince agrees: No Ryan, no Ziggler, no Rhodes, no Dibiase. Match is going on, and who comes out but The Rock, tired of all the shit Cena's been talking about him. Goes to give a Rock Bottom to Cena (with Del Rio laying out at ringside) when from out of nowhere: PUNK. Punk superkicks Rock and a dazed Cena tries to thank him when...GTS. Del Rio climbs back in. Pin. New champ. McMahon comes out and shakes hands with his secret weapon: CM Punk. Punk walks up the ramp as ADR embraces destiny and shakes hands with Vince.
The next night Punk is unveiled as the leader of the New Corporation. He says that while he doesn't necessarily agree with Vince or his ways that the enemy of your enemy is your friend. Punk is tired of the new blood, tired of people not realizing his greatness...the only one who recognized it was Vince McMahon, who gave him a new contract stating that he could challenge anyone, anywhere for the title whenever he saw fit. Cue Del Rio's music. Del Rio comes out and states that Punk will have to pry the title away from his hands and not him nor John Cena could change what destiny proclaimed. Cena's music hits and Cena demands a rematch for the title that night on Raw, which the Anonymous Raw GM grants with one stipulation: if Cena loses, he will no longer be allowed on RAW. Main event: Cena is distracted by the New Corporation and is pinned (can't have the never quit guy submitting, right?) and is kicked off of Raw.
For the next month Cena is relegated to Smackdown and is at the bottom of the list, facing meaningless jobbers and just being treated like absolute shit by Vince and his stable. Punk, who won the title for ADR at some point due to his clause, was immediately challenged by the MITB winner and lost. He is put into programs eventually with Ziggler, Ryan and Punk while gathering allies around him in the form of DBD, Sin Cara, Alex Riley and Ezekiel Jackson. The two teams of five are the big Survivor Series main event where a stipulation is made that if Cena loses, he also loses his match against The Rock at Wrestlemania XXVIII. Cena's team wins with an assist by Rock who goes on to state that while he doesn't like Cena he doesn't want to spoil what will be his ultimate victory.
For the road to Wrestlemania Cena is back on Raw and the Rock turns up the heat, revealing he was the Anonymous Raw GM (even though that makes no sense but whatever) and proceeds to torture Cena for the next 4 months until Wrestlemania XXVIII where Cena beats Rock and cements his legacy, having gone through 9 months of utter hell to get to that point.
Like I said, it's crazy and it doesn't work in places, but that's the overall gist. Cena doesn't need the title to face Rock, nor should he.

I mean, honestly, if Punk leaves, he leaves, but this angle could totally work long run.
I've got a way too intricate plot thought up.
Post it! I've got my own ridiculous, not going to happen plan for everything that I'll post as well if you post yours.
And I agree with Steve from a few pages back, if they let Punk go for an extended period of time at this point it would be one of the biggest wasted opportunities in wrestling history. There are so many great places you can go from here and letting him leave inevitably leads to more of the same old crap.

This is my ridiculous plan for what could happen to Punk at and following MitB. I cooked this up while listening to all the I Want Wrestling and Wrestling Observer podcasts on my way to Houston last weekend so a little of it borrows ideas from those.
At MitB Punk and Cena go the distance and have a crazy match which Punk wins. At this point you could have Punk leave Chicago with the title or do what Alverez has said and have Vince command one or both of the MitB winners to challenge Punk. Whether he schemes his way out of the match(es) by going for a count-out or DQ or actually beats the MitB winner(s) outright I'd have him leave with the title and then disappear. One of the guys on the I Want Wrestling podcast was talking about how great it would be to have Punk actually show up in ROH or New Japan with the belt and then show fancam or, in the case of New Japan, foreign footage on Raw and Smackdown of just where Punk has gone and what he's doing. I love this idea but knowing how insular the WWE tends to be I doubt it would ever happen. Either way I'd keep him off WWE TV for at least a few weeks, leaving Raw without a champion and in turmoil.
Eventually Vince has had enough and practically begs Punk to come back and defend the title, publicly stating he'll give him anything. A new contract, movies, the ability to bring in whoever he wants, whatever it takes. The following week Punk actually shows up on Raw and says he will defend the title but Vince is going to have to own up to those promises he made to get Punk back. First, Punk wants to be in the main event at Wrestlemania. Vince says okay, as long as he is still holding the championship by Wrestlemania he gets to be in it. Secondly, he wants a tag title shot for his new friends: The Kings of Wrestling. Claudio and Hero destroy Otunga and McGillicutty and take the titles with Punk saying that his old Nexus stablemates aren't worthy of being in his new group. After this Punk brings in more members, possibly an IC/US level guy in someone like Tyler Black and, if at all humanly possible, Sara Del Ray.
Punk's indie stable cuts a swath through the WWE, wrecking everyone in their path. You could have a story with Punk's new stable trying to recruit other guys who made their name outside the WWE like Danielson or Bourne with either or both turning Punk down leading to a Danielson/Black, Bourne/Black or a Danielson and Bourne/Kings of Wrestling feud. You could also have either of those two accept and fill the IC/US spot instead of Black.
As the calendar moves on Punk continues to win his title defenses up until the Royal Rumble. At some point Cena is re-hired (and I have no idea how to get around the ridiculous firing stipulation because you know they'd never let him off TV to sell it) and challenges. The match goes on and it looks as if Punk is about to win when Stone Cold comes out and stuns Punk to give Cena the victory, giving Cena the title and preserving the Cena/Rock main event at Wrestlemania. This also sets up the match we've all wanted to see: Punk/Austin. In the aftermath Punk coaxes Austin out of retirement for one last match and we see some of the greatest promos ever. Barring that you could have The Rock come in to assist his chosen opponent or have Taker somehow involved, leading to Punk/Taker as Taker's final Wrestlemania match.
As all of this is going on the Kings continue to win their defenses against all of the established teams and claim to be the best team in the world. It gets to the point where they state that they're bored and stage an invitational, stating that any team or former team that they haven't already beaten is welcome to take a shot at them, leading to the return of beloved and hated teams from the past coming back for a shot at a new common enemy. With this we could get the return of BookDust, MNM, World's Greatest Tag Team, Miz and Morrison and whoever else they can get, eventually leading to a surprise return tag team like JerriShow (With the surprise return of Jericho being the drawing point) coming in to finally defeat them.
On the women's front, if they could get Sara Del Ray I'd have her come in and dominate just like the rest of the stable, destroying the model Divas like Kelly Kelly, The Bellas, etc. until she captures the Diva's Championship (possibly rechristening it the Women's Championship) followed by having her face off with the more capable Divas like Gail, Natalya and Beth, having great matches with them and winning until she is finally brought down by the return of Kharma. Imagine the pop for that.
That's all I've got for now. This is probably the smarkiest fantasy booking I've ever done but I think it would be a lot of fun and, more importantly, it would help build guys for the future, which they desperately need to do.

Fantasy Booking for Punk:
CM Punk and John Cena have a match. Cena wins clean. Punk leaves. LAWL! Vince shows up the next night and claims he's still disappointed that the victory wasn't more decisive (because, like, they give Punk a bunch of offense or whatever) and says he should fire Cena right now! Cena's like, "bitch I makes the money." McMahon backs fellow aristocrat ADR as his new Corporate dude to take out the rebel (har) Cena. None of this gets over.
Vince/Austin 2011, but with a guy who's not nearly as fun to watch as Austin. We all bitch. Bryan Danielson does stupid flippy shit without a mask. Fuck that bitch.

I would have Punk win the title. Next night on Raw, Truth comes out with the Briefcase and hands it to the ref and says he is cashing in and challenging Punk. Anon. GM says that Punk does not work for the company and the title picture is unknown. But because he gave the Briefcase it counts as cashing in and he loses his opportunity, furthering the conspiracy storyline.

Fuck you my thread.
This Monday Vince goes nuts on Punk and fires all of Nexus, Punk isn't phased, Nexus is... pretty annoyed. Vince tells him when he loses that he never wants to see him again and he'll waste away in half full bingo halls and trying hard to give away his autograph in sad convention halls. Punk promises to leave with the title.
At Money in the Bank Punk wins the title clean from Cena after a long match. After the match Cena offers a hand. Punk thinks about it... and accepts. And gets FUed. R-Truth's music hits, he won Money in the Bank earlier and he is taking his shot right now. When the bell rings a few guys jump the rails and security jumps all over them and Punk takes the opportunity to escape through the crowd.
The next night is bedlam as Vince goes nuts and Cena is fired, Truth complains that he got screwed out of his Money in the Bank shot only for Alberto to interrupt and say HE should have gotten the title shot and he wants it at SummerSlam. Vince sides with Alberto and Truth starts running his mouth... and gets suspended. Vince announces that there is only one true WWE Champion - Randy Orton, who will now defend the title on both shows. Orton comes out and Vince congratulates him and Orton tells him that while he thinks he is the best, rewriting history is no way to prove it. He tells Vince that Punk is an ego maniac and that he beat him over and over again at WrestleMania and beyond and he can do it again and religitimize the title. Vince tells him he just gave Cena that chance and look where it got him. Orton starts telling him he isn't going to leave till he gives it to him and Vince says the answer is still no. Orton continues and Vince says 'Kevin, cut his mic' and Orton goes silent. He tosses the mic aside and goes after Vince who runs away saying to cut to commercial.
We come back from commercial and the announcers pretend like nothing happened. When one of them mentions something about it their mic gets cut and the other has to explain that his colleague must be having technical difficulties.
Vince backstage announces that Randy Orton is also suspended and that tonight will mark the reign of a new WWE champion in tonight's main event: Miz vs. Rey vs. Riley vs. Alberto Del Rios.
That title match is interrupted by several things: the same guys jumping the rails, a new guy jumps the other side and gets in the ring and jumps on Rey. Security is going nuts trying to contain it. The back floods out to help and we go off the air - still with no new champion and with it pretty up in the air what the situation is.
Vince then goes on Smackdown and says that he wants to meet the man who made this all happen face to face on Raw and challenges him to come to Raw and state his case.
Everyone expects Punk. It's Heyman, he says he has a way to make this all stop and get Vince what he really wants - Punk back for SummerSlam to defend his title. Vince is none too pleased but asks what the conditions are. Heyman says: no interference, he and Punk get to hire 5 men who they get to control the booking of and if Punk leaves - he leaves for good, with the title. Vince considers and eventually accepts. He announces a tournament to crown the 'Interm Heavyweight Champion' to face Punk.
The tournament includes the 4 who were in the match the week before, Christian, Big Show and Vince relents and lets Orton and Truth back in for it.
Eventually the tournament final is Alberto vs. Orton and Heyman and Co. wreck havoc again for another no contest. Vince then says since they broke their word to stop screwing with things, he's breaking his and it won't be a one on one match - it'll be a Triple Threat match. Heyman says that's fine... with one revision: it's not a Triple Threat - it's a Three Way Dance. A disgusted Vince agrees.
And while this is going on we also have Heyman announce the first of his hires: John Cena. Who, to make a point, is told he can't do any of his signature stuff - he has to 'get over on his own'. And Heyman books him in a series of impossible situations, with Cena getting more and more frustrated.
Heyman then also hires: Colt Cabana, Claudio and Hero and it's revealed they were the ones who jumped the rails. Leave one hire up in the air for a while, just a card in your pocket. Have Rey challenge Claudio who was the one who clobbered him and that's a SummerSlam match as well (set up by several Claudio squashes where he does some wacky spots that 'aren't allowed' like the spinning torture rack-y thing).
Vince brings back Mason Ryan and Michael McGuillicutty and challenges Colt and Hero for SummerSlam and it's accepted.
Alberto probably ought to win the title at SummerSlam but all the other guys win and get to look strong with Heyman. Start teasing Brock and deliver him at the Pay Per View after in some capacity.
I feel like all of this isn't TOO out there.

Most fantasy bookings lead to some sort of Corporation-esque faction helmed by Vince. The original (pre-union with Ministry) stable was fun, but I don't know if I want to see another [anti-authoritative guy] vs. Vince and his followers program.
I like Ad and Daniels proposals, but, you know, they go back to that all the time.
Yeah, I know. I hate swerves and reveals, but at this point, some kind of shakeup needs to happen and the idea of McMahon and Rock making Cena's live a living hell up until Wrestlemania so when Cena beats Rock it means something isn't a bad thing by any means.

TNA actually took the name crimson from another wrestler whow as in talks with them, named krimson.
He then was in talks to debut a character named the villain, but they ripped that off as well.
He sent them videos of him doing promos on Hogan and Sting as part of the talks, promos in which he displayed a joker like character, next thing you know, Sting is joker sting and doing stuff like the promo.

He feuded with Undertaker in the Fall of '09.
There's the potential for a quality angle, but I can't help feeling a bit weary about the prospect of Vince becoming a permanent fixture of television again, especially if it's to feud with John Cena (who just doesn't pull off that anti-authority role well).

Nice
