I know that as a trade-waiter I'm late to the party, but I just picked it up from Borders, read it, and loved it.

Anyone that complains that Bendis is only good with dialogue needs to read this story. A perfect mix of action, adventure, drama, dialogue, and fun...all at the perfect pace.

Well done.

It's a really great comic. Bendis said on Wordballoon that Alan Davis was ahead of his bi-monthly schedule. I was hoping that Marvel would then put it out monthly. Ah well.

BENDIS!

I agree. It's up there along with The Ultron Initiative and Breakout as my favorite Avengers stories. I demand that Bendis and Davis team up again!!

It was really good. Unfortunately Fraction's Thor spoiled that the other 7 realms returned to their rightfull positions months before it happened in Avengers Prime.

Bendis writes a great Enchantress, and Davis draws a great Enchantress. I did not expect that character to be so interesting.

She had a lot of layers and depth. Her character expressed various emotions that came from multiple sources, like a real person. A fine example of character building.

That, and...big boobies!!!

Now if only Fraction follows up on it & uses her in his Thor run.

How long after the last issue of Siege did Avengers Prime happen? I thought Steve and Tony were not getting along right away during the first 10 issues of The Avengers. I could be wrong.

Prime was right after Siege. in the opening pages of prime, the avengers were still surveying the damage osborn orchestrated in asgard.

Just finished reading it a few minutes ago. What a great story! I typically don't like fantasy elements mixed with my super heroes, but this was all kinds of bad ass. There are numerous shots of weapons clashing with another powerful weapon and yet somehow Davis made each and everyone feel epic. Fun stuff!
