I almost made this thread last night, but decided to keep my self respect.

I was tempted to make "Do you keep a weapon in the horse?"

Sorry.
I actually misread the other thread title as this, so I couldn't resist.
You do realize your stealing Bert's job, right?

I wonder. Is the logical third spinoff parody thread "Do You Keep A Weapon Pointed At The Woman In The House?"

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who did this. Whew.

I have two. One is called my mother, the other is called my sister.
Take a guess which one plays the voice of reason most often.

Would I be the only one who thinks a broken telephone thread would be fun(Each thread title leads to another title that was misread as that one and so on)?
You do realize your stealing Bert's job, right?
not exactly. . . this one was too easy a target for me :p
so more power to him for giving it a shot. . .

We'll probably end up with a thread entitled "Do you sleep with tampons and a mouse?" at this rate. 8-)

I keep many weapons in the house... the toughest one is the woman I married. She'd lay waste to anyone that got near her kids.

You keep a weapon pointed on her? :-?
No.
Who needs a woman when you have lawn chairs and beer, right Cam?

Yep, under the sink.
At least you didn't say, "Under my pillow." I was waiting for that.

My last woman friend said she found our relationship "smothering" and that she needed more space. I locked her outside. The end.

I feel a joke coming on:
Q: Why is a cucumber better than a boyfriend?
A: When your mother drops in, you can hide it in the refrigerator.

Yeah, I know we're all joking around here but jokes about pointing guns in anyone's face is a little bit too much.

Guys, I'm getting complaints about this thread from the Benbo mods, and I don't think it has any intrinsic value to stay open.
So, close it up, please.

Jesus Christ. It was only meant to be quick joke based on my misreading of the other thread, not an invitation to make jokes about keeping women at gunpoint inside the house. I'm sorry this turned into some kind of trainwreck that caused moderators from another board to come all the way here to complain.
Lock it up. Whatever.
I'm curious, though. Is it the misogynist jokes that caused the complaints, or the fact that I started the thread itself? Just for future reference. I hate when stuff gets moderated without explanation. How are we supposed to learn from that?

Yeah, I know we're all joking around here but jokes about pointing guns in anyone's face is a little bit too much....I read that with a completely different definition for "weapon".

Okay, two things. I never read the rest of the thread. I knew it was a joke and just threw something out at the top of my head. After I posted I read this and realized that it was closing. I apologize to all involved.
The second is if what I wrote is too offensive, to go ahead and delete it. Sorry about that.

Feel free to point him in my direction....
Anyway, closing the thread, as Gail asked.
ETA: I suspect it was the gun comment that drew the attention from the Benbo mods.
