It's clear who I voted for. =)

My next choices would have been Booster and Beetle, followed by Cyborg and Changeling (but neither pairing are currently well written, and one isn't possible, what with Beetle being dead and all).

Some years back when Tom Beland was doing a batch of commissions I asked for a Beast/Wonder Man piece to commemorate that favorite bromance as seen in the first few comics I read in the early 80s.

I don't know if anything's been done with them in, well, decades, but that's who got my vote!

Damn, some tough choices there. I was torn but I actually went Power Man/Iron Fist.

Me, too. Their broship is undeniable.

Had to go with Blue Beetle and Booster. I don't care that he's dead. We all know he'll come back eventually and they'll get back to the sweet, sweet bro love at some point.

So many favorites on that list, including Catman and Deadshot, but Beast and Iceman got my vote.

Without Tommy Monaghan & Natt The Hat, I went with Bats & Gordon.

Superboy and Robin as written by John's were so close if I didn't know better I would have sworn they were a couple.

Warning: Ad-block (at least on my config) seems to block those polls.

EDIT - got it working...

I'd say the answer depends a LOT on what era you are talking about.

For example, for YEARS Green Lantern (Hal) and Green Arrow (Ollie) were the best buddy team. But that's gone in the dumper in the last generation. Now they hardly talk to each other.

... yeah, I can sort of see that actually.

I mean, he did seem to take Connor's death WAY harder than Wonder Girl.

So what's the female equivalent of a bromance? "Girlfriends" probably covers it, but I really want to be crude and go with "ho-mance."

Anyway, I figure it's Oracle and Canary. Or Misty and Colleen Wing. Or Jessica Jones and Ms. Marvel. I remember Storm and Kitty Pryde were close in the early years.

Might be enough for a poll, come to think of it...

Oracle and Canary and Misty and Colleen Wing are the only two which persisted long enough to actually make an impression on me. At least in mainsteam comics.

Sue Storm/Richards is friends with a number of other Marvel women, for example, but its not SHOWN on the page very consistently. Its irregular.

I'm not counting surrogate "sister" type relationships (or Mother-Daughter surrogates) for this though. Otherwise Wonder Woman and Donna would be an obvious one (not that we've seen all that much of that one in recent... decades).
