Yesterday was Batman's birthday (Feb. 19) and I started to think that I don't know BC's D.O.B. I looked around on the internet and found April 10th. Is this correct?

I know that some celebrate in August because that is when the Golden Age Black Canary debuted. However, there is no exact date given. Just August 1947.

Thoughts?

Just remember, whenever you DO celebrate Black Canary's birthday, she prefers pie to cake:

You take your comics way too seriously.

Of course. I'm assuming blackberry pies.

One would think, yes.

Incidentally, this image highlights one of Dinah Drake's most prominent, but little-noticed, skills: a talent for throwing irregularly-shaped objects that rivals that of Marvel's Bullseye.

Seriously, she does this sort of thing all the time in her Golden Age adventures, and I'm hard-pressed to identify anyone with better throwing skills in all of DC Comics.

I love the sound effect: "SQUOOSHHH." Not only is she so talented she can hit a crook in the face with a pie from across the room, but she can also have it start making a squooshing sound before it even hits him!
