I wonder if someone here could help me.

We recently bought a new computer and I want to get all of my iPhone apps from my previous computer on to the new one. I'm using the same external hard drive so I know they're on there, I just don't know how to direct iTunes to them. And what's going to happen once I actually plug my iPhone into the computer?

I can't seem to find the answer on Apple's site, and I haven't had any luck Googling it. Any help would be appreciated!

It's a shame there aren't any Apple threads on the board.

It's a shame answering a guy's question can be such a chore. :)

As for your question Jay I think you can have ITunes directly open the folder in your drive. You could also transfer purchases from your iPhone to the computer directly you'd also have to authorize the computer to use your account.

Also if both computers are on the same network use the itunes home function to transfer the files.

iTunes->Preferences->Advanced->iTunes media folder location. Select "change" and open the external hard drive folder of your media.
