My LCS has announced they are closing their doors and I have tried DC's subscription service and was not impressed at all!! Thanks your the innformation.

Seconded. I used them for years before financial difficulties finally forced me to stop buying comics altogether. Although good news may be coming Monday and the comics may flow freely again!

If you still plan to buy the monthlies the key is to wait until you can spend enough money to qualify for free shipping.

Richard and the guys at Zeus are fantastic.

(the only thing I originally didn't care for, is they don't do a "Pre-order". . but I've gotten used to it now, and kinda like the freedom to choose on week of, if I want something or not. If I am interested in something very special or specific/unique, then I DO email Richard and inquire about it,instead of just waiting until week of. . but otherwise, I've very happy with my Sub. service at Zeus, and heartily 2nd this recommendation).
