on the Oregon coast, some of the loudest thunder I've ever heard here.

It's torrential. We rarely have really crazy weather here, but man, this is really coming down. Going out to get the mail means getting soaked to the bone.

Wow!

Raining pretty heavy up here too, I think it's pretty much over though.

It poured all weekend here but is now gorgeous and sunny out.

Weird, we had a bunch of rain on Saturday and a big storm on Sunday.

we had that kind of weather last week. Maybe it moved your way over the weekend.

My sheltie has a bladder of steel, he can hold it all day without going out if he wants, but my greyhound has a bladder of wispy nothings, and he can't hold it five minutes if he needs to pee.

Problem is, he hates the rain, he has no hair to keep warm, so he agonizes over going out. He has to go, and he HATES to go!

Our little Chihuaha/Pug (Chug) is the same way. He's TERRIFIED of thunder even though it's been 10 years now and the thunder has yet to actually do anything to him. He becomes unbearable when it's raining outside and won't leave us alone. We usually have to cage him just to get him to sit still.

We had tornado warnings last night here in the midwest and we're under a sever wind advisory today. We actually kept our kids inside for recess today because it was so windy.
