Jonny Rench, comics colourist best known for his recent work for Wildstorm, from Authority to Gen 13, has tragically passed away, aged 28, from a heart attack.

He most recently posted his work on his blog on October 2nd, a Jim Lee cover for Gears Of War.

When I saw the thread title, I read it as "Jonny Bench RIP" and got really sad. Relieved that it wasn't him, but damn 28 is too damned young.

That's awful. It's especially shocking to me when I see someone not even 30 struck down by a heart attack.
