Oddly life-affirming. I'd have given him a tenner.
Also immeasurably more dignified than Bumfights. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYXKaAzEJrk)

Funny and heartbreaking.
Also, it can't just be me who thought at one point that David Bowie Kermit was going to start making out with Freddie Mercury Kermit.

I'd call pretty much any manipulation of the homeless for entertainment fucked up - whether the end result is "life affirming" or not.
If one of the commenters is correct, though, he's not actually homeless and it's some kind of performance art something or another:
He changed the video description last night I guess, but he said he's not homeless and is a performer, but is doing this so people help out those who are homeless/out of work/etc.
Even teasing the notion of goading homeless guys into this kind of stuff burns me, though. Seems irresponsible.

At least they're doing something for money instead of sitting on the sidewalk and bugging everyone for "change".

That song always reminds me that Freddie's dead & makes me tear up at the end.
The Kermit's really rocked out at the end.
