If you could live inside any movie, which would you pick?

You would live as yourself but in the confines of the universe of that movie so you would be able to interact with all the characters.

So, if you picked Star Wars, you could be a Jedi or if you picked Judge Dredd, you could be a Judge but you can't be a character from the movie, you have to be yourself in that world.

I think I would pick Star Trek, in Kirk's time. That would be cool. I want to be a bridge officer on the Enterprise.

Funnily enough I had just watched this Cracked video (http://www.cracked.com/video_18196_5-classic-movie-high-schools-that-would-suck-to-attend.html) on movie high schools before I saw your thread.

Personally I'm going to go with Serenity-verse. Think about it - the Alliance is this incredibly cultured federation, with great health care, religious tolerance, multi-racial harmony and scientific inquiry.

Of course, if you get tired of all that homogenous and vaguely facistic central government, you can bunk off to the non-alligned worlds and either live a simple life as a farmer, or sign up to join a smuggler's crew like Mal Reynold's.

Then again, there's Reavers. Always make sure you have a basement vault that is secure.

Yeah but in Trek you have the Borg, Star Wars has the Sith (and now zombie Jedi (http://www.toplessrobot.com/2010/09/topic_discussion_zombie_jedi.php)....yay....), Dredd....christ you don't want to live in Megacity 1, with Judge Death, undead armies, demons and mutants a prog away.....

Give me Reavers. You shoot them, they die.

Or they eat you whole. :(

All the films I like are too dangerous for me. I loved Pan's Labyrinth (no way in hell I'm visiting that world).

I think period pieces are out for me. If there is one thing a Black man may not be able to do with less stress is live in the past where people don't wonder why I can use good grammar, used the front door, or wear nice clothes.

I pick Contempt (Le Mepris) by Godard to be a part of. Just mix of drama and commercialism.

The Muppet Movie.

The original, with all the famousest people of the world in it. Bob Hope, even!

If I can't go there, I'll take Roger Rabbit.

Or maybe Harry Potter as long as I don't have to be a Muggle.

Spirited Away.

Just be a freaky-ass East Asian demon, going to ghost saunas and laying back in the cut.

My first choice would be Road Warrior, but ONLY if I could be Mad Max...so that one's ruled out.

So...that leaves me with Pirates of the Caribbean...as one of Jack's crew.

The Maltese Falcon, The Big Sleep, Chinatown, Vertigo: any movie set on the coast of California during the 30s, 40s, or 50s.

I'd stay clear of those characters though.

Star Wars '77... as one of the surviving X-wing pilots.

...Or in Phantom Menace, so I'd have a chance to kill Jar Jar.

Can it be a movie where I get the girl?

Weeto

Of course, as long as you kill the lead man or talk the girl out of marrying him or something like that.
