My computer is acting all weird. When I type the cursor jumps around and sometimes highlights the words I am typing and deletes them or the cursor jumps behind to previous typed words.
What is going on with my computer? Anyone have any ideas?

Are you on a laptop?

Your computer is haunted by either ghosts or demons.
You should drill some holes in the side of it to let them out.

Sounds like possibly a mouse problem. You restart lately?

Sounds like a problem I had with my mouse not too long ago. Replaced it.

Yeah I am on a laptop.
If it has the mousepad right below your hands (as most do) the sensativity might be a bit high. So whenever you're typing, your hands are gliding over the top of the sensor pad the computer is picking that up as mouse movement.

It could also be some dirt stuck in a key on the keyboard on on the trackpad buttons. I had a freaky thing like that going on and it turned out to be a sticky key on the keyboard. Try cleaning the Cheese-y poofs dust out of the keys with some isopropyl alcohol and a clean cloth.

Go to Control Panel and look for the Mouse submenu and play around with the sensitivity settings.

Nope, it's fucked. You might as well just give it to me.
I take broken computers off people's hands for free.
You pay shipping though.

If you're on a desk, maybe get one of those things that elevate the laptop a little so your arms aren't touching the touchpad when you type. Or get an external keyboard. Whatever works for you.
Try hooking up USB mouse. If problem persists go into BIOS and disable on board mouse and try a usb mouse again
