Need a bit of help

what's better: a class schedule with 4 classes one day and one class the next day, or a schedule with 3 classes one day and 2 classes the next day? The first option I would be at school at 7:30 and leave at 2:30 on the one day, and the day with one class I would be there from around 12 to 1:30/2. and the second option I would be at school 7:30 till 1, and the other day I would be there from 9 ish to around 1.

my schedule right now looks like this (my school has block scheduling):
Red Day:
period 1: AP Lit
period 3: Studio Art
period 5: Journalism
period 7: None
White Day:
Period 2: none
period 4: Government/ Econ
Period 6: Ceramics
period 8: none

for option one it would look like this:
Red Day:
period 1: AP Lit
period 3: Studio Art
period 5: Journalism
period 7: Gov/ Econ
White Day:
Period 2: none
period 4: None
Period 6: Ceramics
period 8: none

would it be better to have one class one day or two?

Lunch is between 3rd and 5th, and 4th and 6th. I also live like 15 minute away from the school.

I would say keep your days as balanced as possible. When I was a senior I had one day that started/ended later than the other. I was always oversleeping because of it, and hated having to stay late when all of my friends were going home. I know I would have really hated dragging myself to school for just one class.

I'd balance -- 3/2 as much as possible.

it's been a LONG while since I was in High School, but I do remember College pretty well.

and it SUCKED when all my classes had mid-terms the same days.

if you even things out, you end up with more study time to prepare, and worst case you can only end up w/ 3 exams on one day (vs 4 exams).

yeah I decided to go with the first option, 3/2.

I went with the other option when I was in college, 4/1, simply because having only one class on a day, particularly if it was late morning or even evening, it gave me a full day at my part-time job and I needed the money.

yeah this is for High school. One of my friends ended up being in the class I would have changed so I decided to stay with the 3/2
