I gotta say, I have zero against Mormons, absolutely nothing (well, other than their anti-gay agenda, which I know isn't totally universal with them). But man... this is almost like Scientology. Why did I never know that before? Of course the person posting it identifies as an athiest in their comments, and certainly has an agenda, but this individual didn't create the original cartoon.

A lot of contemporary artists have REALLY shitty music. Miley Cyrus probably is near the top of that list. So much so that normally I attribute to her the same talent level as a flea.

That said, I was surprised to find these three videos, recorded last summer right before she chopped off all her hair. Of Miley singing music about as FAR removed from her normal stuff as possible... and NOT sucking.

I'm not quite sure she properly understands Jolene or puts the right emotion to it, but nevertheless its about a million miles away from her normal putrid music (and a hundred times better). And the other two are both probably dead on.

Despite these being "live" videos, I'm sure the audio has been remixed a bit. Nevertheless, the clarity of her voice probably IS mostly hers and not from a machine.

If THIS was her career path... I'd like her. As a mere diversion for her? It gives me some pause, but makes the REST of her career a bit sadder.
