I'll admit I watch too much tv, and yet I'm okay with that. I have a strange and crazy list of the things I watch, depending on the season and wondered what you watched as well.
Going for stuff currently on (even if out of season), and not things that have been cancelled/retired.
UK:
Being Human
QI
Merlin (so so bad and so so good at the same time)
Spooks
Skins
Secret Millionaire (judge not lest ye be judged)
Never mind the buzzcocks
Doctor Who
Hustle
US:
Sanctuary
Caprica
Eureka (though I'm a season behind)
Leverage (Hey, Hardison's a Simone fan!)
White Collar
Warehouse-13
Project Runway (HELLS TO THE YES)
Glee (i'll admit it!)
Bones
Gossip Girl (josh schwartz is brilliant, full stop)
Chuck (see above mention of josh schwartz)
Castle (Nathan Fillion, hello)
Community
30 Rock
Big Love (so in love with this show it almost hurts)
True Blood
NZ:
Outrageous Fortune
AU:
Australia's Next Top Model
Tangled
...and... I'm suddenly glad for short seasons and seasons that don't sync up!

Lately I've been going back and watching old seasons of The Simpsons and reminiscing over how good it used to be.
As for current stuff, I've become addicted to Cake Boss and Pawn Stars.

Merlin (so so bad and so so good at the same time)
I'm still mad that this show is still on tv whereas Legend of the Seeker, a perfectly nice fantasy show with an abundance of boobage, got canceled. I lost all faith in humanity on that day.

My list isn't nearly that diverse in regards to country. Still, it's pretty static.
But I really like:
The Boondocks
Doctor Who
30 Rock
Community
Project Runaway
Tosh .0 (shut up)
Futurama
Top Chef Masters (again, shut up)
Criminal Minds

I just started watching Review with Myles Barlow, the guy creeps me out but the concept is genius (imagine a movie review show except he reviews life experiences instead of movies). Also Louie, its too funny.

I don't watch an awful lot of tv, but I do follow futurama, the IT Crowd, QI, Bones, L&O:SVU, and the Venture Bros. Other than that, there's not a lot of stuff I've gotten into. I'm content enough with reruns of stuff I guess.
I can't freaking wait for Game of Thrones!

usually I only watch TCM, History or NatGeo, so I'm blissfully unaware of most programming.
dasNdanger
07-31-2010, 07:20 AM
Regular shows:
Rugby (watch more of that than anything - like the Currie Cup match right now...)
NCIS
Psych
White Collar
Stargate Universe
Sanctuary
Doctor Who
Masterpiece Mystery! on PBS (a public brocasting show featuring British mysteries and the classics)
Catch when I can:
Castle
The Mentalist
Warehouse 13
COPS
I think that's it. There are some new shows coming out this fall, including a re-do of Hawaii 5-0 (my fav as a kid), and a couple superhero ones. I'm going to check them out, but not sure if any will really keep my attention - I get bored with tv pretty fast.

I'm re-watching Six Feet Under, but regularly, it's all about Hung and Entourage. Once Eastbound & Down and Bored to Death come back, I'll be watching those as well.
Trying to find the first seasons of Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, and Mad Men for cheap so I can get started.
Suffering Sappho
07-31-2010, 09:02 AM

Futurama (All glory to the hypnotoad!)

Considering what happens in the later books, I'm kinda glad it ended when it did; it ended on a high note.

I'm watching MAD MEN and TRUE BLOOD. Those are the top two shows running now, and Mad Men may be the most important show of the decade.
I also enjoy these junkfood shows. Guilty pleasures:
Jersey Shore
Hells Kitchen
Entourage

Buffy: Season 4
Angel: Season 1
The Office: Season 6

It's kind of depressing for a kid's show. Conversely I do dig the liberties it takes.

I always forget to put in the Daily Show. I don't know why. I also really need to watch more than the first season of Big Bang Theory.

I have the match taped - I've watched most of it but have about 15 minutes to go. Loved that charge-down and try by (was it Carter?) - right after the Wallabies try in the beginning. That was pretty badass. :)

Sadly, I stopped watching FNL mid-season S3 and REALLY need to pick that back up again.
Pffft. We list White Collar cause it's been awesome. Seriously impressed as to how the second season has stepped up from the first.

I'm terrible about TV. I play the catch-up game; once something has become so popular my friends bully me into a marathon of whatever show. Then I buy the series on DVD.
The only things I'm watching with any sort of regularity are Glee and The Good Wife. But I'm playing catch-up with Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Sanctuary, and my housemate is forcing me to sit down and watch every season of Stargate SG-1 with him.
I actually would like some good recommendations on what I should be on the look out for.

Because if so, I strongly recomend picking up some DVDs of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Lately I've only been keeping up with CASTLE.
I did, however, just finish seasons 1 and 2 of SKINS. Was pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't typical teen-drama bullshit, but creatively conceived and produced. The Chris + Tony eps from season 2 are standouts.
Waiting for new eps of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER and VENTURE BROS.
Only seen a few eps of COMMUNITY, but wish I could see more.

3&4 are great too, but give yourself a break between watching the first 2 seasons and the next 2, or you'll constantly be comparing the cast, or so I hear. I gave it a break and loved it.

It's okay, I'm really a sweet, cuddly teddy bear. I swears I will not be burning anyone. Don't listen to anything Cam tells you otherwise.
I like a more 'hands on' approach, anyway.
