hell probably feud with him to kill time till he cashes it in at some point
Um...didn't you just say you wanted him to work his way up to Main Event?
R-truth pretty much equals Matt Hardy.
Personally, I don't want him to work up to it. I'd love to see him in the main-event now. He's been US Champ twice, and has done everything possible in the midcard. However, if he's going to tread water for a few months, I'd rather it be with someone like Morrison.

what happened?
my cable went out right after he slamed shamus head into teh case......arrrggggggg
Sheamus wasn't concious. He has to be to start the match. While the ref tried to revive him Truth came out and Miz called off the match.

Damn it! I was marking so hard for a moment. I hope Miz isn't relegated to a feud with R-Truth. That tease was fantastic though.
Miz still has the U.S. title. They're probably going to do something about that before he gets a wwe title shot.

Summerslam '98 was the first wrestling PPV I ever watched live. The Austin/'Taker program was so hot.

He won the case on the 18th, and 365 days later is July 17th.

Right, but I'd enjoy seeing him hold the US Title when he gets the title. It won't happen, but it'd be the perfect the way to signify he's a force in the main-event.
Well not everyone can get a mega push like Sheamus.
Of course. I understand Raw's roster is so top-heavy, it makes upward mobility difficult at the moment. That doesn't change the fact that Miz is ready for the main-event. I'm also of the opinion that Miz/Morrison would lead to a more entertaining feud than Truth/Miz.

Yea. There is no way theyd let him be in a match nevermind get attacked backstage.
Plus Meltzer said Bret was gone for good and was done with the company.
well, meltzer said so it must be true.....
he's just a mark with a keyboard that rely's on what some snitch from wwe tells him.

Meltzer's getting played a LOT lately.
The Abraham Washington as GM thing has been the biggest thing they've repeatedly fed to him that was obvious BS.

So could this all be part of a continuing Bret vs. Vince? It seemed like that's what they were hinting at when Bret was named GM in the first place but then he left. Could there be a Hunter wanting to take over the company from Vince and the two found a mutually beneficial path to all of that utilizing Nexus?

Dark match following Raw was Cena V. Sheamus for the belt. Cena had the STFU in and then Nexus ran down. Team Cena followed and there was some fighting back and forth. It was capped by Bret Hart putting the sharpshooter on Slater. That was unexpected. Pretty solid Raw to be at, I didn't even have to worry about guest host bs.

Is Sheamus a Kid 'n Play fan?
You know Black Cena is. He started with Kid's original hairstyle, and then went to the hairstyle he changed to in "Class Act".

Why the fuck would you waste a slot on khali?!
Because he's a great visual threat all of the Nexus. Slater sold his reaction well.

That's erroneous. Meltzer mentioned that Bret had to negotiate new terms with Lloyd's of London to enable him to collect on his insurance while performing light "stunt work", but that he was expected back in the company around SummerSlam.

He's only won awards from ESPN and Sports Illustrated, the former giving him a lifetime achievement award, been published in the New York Times, Yahoo's sports section and other major publications, and has regular contact with virtually all of the major players in wrestling. He's often proven right, but fuck him!
